Really good and flavorful food - Edit
The food was very well flavored and salted. I had questions and they were happy to answer them. I ordered the vegan beef kebab patty, the peanut stew, vegan egusi and jollof rice for me and my family. We all enjoyed it. No complaint at all. Staff was friendly.

This place, which is one block away from the UN, offers authentic African food, with a large selection of vegan items. The food here is healthy and delicious, and quite filling. A base (such as coconut fried rice, fufu, or some African-style starch) plus a vegan protein+ starch costs about $20, and the portions are so large that it will be enough for a few meals.

The place is tiny, with one cramped table for two inside, and a few metal tables and chairs outdoors--if the weather is nice, you can take your food to a nearby park (such as Dag Hammerskjold Plaza).
Pros: Very filling, healthy, lots of vegan options., Great for takeout.
Cons: Not much seating, no bathroom.
