Loved the birria items

As I said loved the birria items. Portions were a little small but the food was delicious.

SO good

The food is pricey (that’s kind of standard at most places now, isn’t it?), but it’s so good. Full of flavor and tastes just like the food I ate growing up.

Dangerously small portions

Like others have said here, prices are extreme and portions are tiny. I finished my two vampiros ($16) in four bites. It tastes good but I’m not satisfied.

Can we please avoid making customers feel scammed? We all know that vegan food tends to be pricier, but what’s happening here will turn non-vegans into one-time customers.

Pros: Cheese is surprisingly good, Al pastor is flavorful, Salsa is spicy

Cons: Tiny portions, Very expensive, Watered-down horchata

One Time Only

Now that the pandemic is over I swore off ghost kitchens. Then I saw the IG for this place and figured I’d go one more time.

This place has no front of house staff and none of the costs of restaurants that thoughtfully create a curated dining experience, yet their prices are on the high end of the spectrum for what you’d pay at a dine-in restaurant

That said, the food was delicious. Like others have stated there is hardly any jackfruit in the birria but the broth was delicious. Considering the reasons stated above I won’t likely come back unless they significantly reduce their prices. I’d say this place is good for one time only.

Pros: Great birria broth

Cons: Overpriced, Skimped on the jackfruit , Take out only

Delicious vegan birria

All vegan ghost kitchen specializing in birria everything. I was super excited to try Viva Vegan since I’ve never been able to have birria before. The quesabirria tacos were crispy and delicious, served with a side of consome. But there wasn’t much filling in them.

The ramen was unique and had good flavor, but I wish it had a few more toppings for texture. I would definitely try other things on their menu.

The only con was how expensive it was for portion size. $18 for two tacos! Pricy.

I may go back

The flavor was good just really small portions for the price. I felt unsatisfied. I paid 21 dollars for two hard birra tacos and a small spoonful of rice and beans.

Not what they portray

The tacos are not filled like you see on IG. I got the 2 Quesabirriass Crunchy Tacos and literally had no cheese and MAYBE a tablespoon of Jackfruit Birria for $20. As you can see from the photo they are not filled at all. I wanted to love this place… they need to work on their inconsistent food.

Need Más!

Food is absolutely fantastic with authentic flavor. I need 1 of everything, now!! This is a cloud kitchen inside Echo Park Eats. Order ahead online, inside at the kiosk, or ubereats for delivery. There's a park right around the corner, which is a nice place to eat.

Pros: Vegan, Authentic

Cons: Parking , A tad pricey, No place to sit and eat
