Food was great and service quick. I did have a strong feeling there was honey in the ginseng drink.

Really good - Edit
Food here is very good and so cheap, I’ve returned each time I’m staying in the area! It’s open with no air conditioning and the staff don’t speak much English but there is a nice big menu on the wall with pictures you can point at, not much of a drink selection but they didn’t mind when I bought an outside soft drink in with me, it’s not a bougie place but I’m giving it 5 stars because it feels very authentic and the foods great!

Authentic Vietnamese - Edit
This felt like a very authentic Vietnamese place. The staff don’t speak English but there is English on the menu, as well as pictures, so it’s easy to order.
Read moreThe staff are really friendly and the food was delicious. It’s also very cheap at 32k for a bowl of pho.
*Edit- i went back again and it’s solidified this as my favourite vegan place so far in Asia*

Amazing Authentic Vegan Food - Edit
Amazing vegan noodle. A lot of fake meat options. The staff did not speak English but it was not a problem as we just pointed what we wanted. Really lovely staff. Definitely recommend this place if you want some authentic Vietnamese vegan food with amazing flavours.

good local restaurant - Edit
The owners of this small restaurant are very friendly, but unfortunately they don't understand a word of English. Instead of water I had water with seaweed… to order I pointed my finger at the menu. What can I say, a completely different meal came. but hey the food was good! and the prices are cheap too!

Tasty food - Edit
They now have a com chay cart at the front alongside the menu. Only 30k with free soup. Iced tea is only 2k so a only 32k for traditional com chay with soup and iced tea in D1. No English spoken but a friendly welcome. You can point at the menu and com chay so it’s no issue.

Fresh, tasty sharing platters - Edit
There are several sharing dishes to choose from—we got a combo for 2 which came with spring rolls, broken rice, and vermicelli with toppings. The flavours were nice and fresh, although we thought the square of sesame tofu that came with the com tam tasted weird and overall everything was a little dry. Tip: mix the condiments together and make your own sauce! The combo also included ginseng water which we didn’t particularly like. For the price, 159k for two people, it’s a decent lunch.
