What a surprise it was when we went to dinner that he was there, and OMG, we liked him right away! What a fun person and his restaurant is just like him.😎😃
We ordered a burger, tosties and crisp in gravy. Usually we take pictures of what we eat to put in our reviews, but we were chatting with him and were so eager to taste that we forgot to take the pictures. That's why you see his restaurant and our empty plates.🤪😅😂

We've been coming to FV and its previous iteration, the Bookworm Cafe ever since we got together. In fact we first became an official couple partly thanks to Kieron. Whilst we don't often get the chance to go back as much as we would like, we still try to whenever we visit Saigon, and his Sunday Roasts are legendary. I always order at least two dishes whenever I visit, which never ceases to amaze everyone.

One of the orange cats wants a lot of attention and might jump your chair or table. I loved it because it felt like eating at a friends house but maybe a small warning to people who dont want cats near their food.

So..When you're noodled out and craving the familiar this place is just the ticket. We had the fish (tofu) chips and heinz beans and it really hit the spot. Huge portion (I did manage it all!) really nice guy who runs it, down to earth friendly sort you could imagine having a beer or two with.

Read moreThe restaurant is upstairs, just follow it on the map and then look for the sign to go upstairs, there was a food cart outside. Friendly and funny owner, lots of cats to cuddle and books to swap with if you want.
I had the Hawaiian pizza, some chips, a chocolate orange torte and a peach ‘Magnum’. Had just survived a 24 hour bus from Hội An so I needed a carb fest!
Pizza was great, super cheesy and great mock meat and pineapple. The choc torte was rich with a nice biscuity base and the peach ‘Magnum’ was completely original, never tasted anything like it. It was really good!
