Good food, very friendly and hospitable owners - Edit
Restaurant with a pool table close to bamboo trail, great atmosphere, terrace with many surrounding plants and a good view with hospitable owners.
Read moreHad fried tofu with rice and locally grown vegetables (vegan), plus spring rolls (vegetarian). The place has some vegan options, but the majority of dishes are with meat (e.g. I didn't find a vegan Pho).
Additional info unrelated to the restaurant: The brother of the owner is a guide for the Ha Giang Loop tour ("dragon team tour") and I've heard the owner gives you a good price for it. Just reach out to him if you'd like to do the Ha Giang loop as well after Sapa in a smaller group with less crowded places.

After two hours of walking through Bamboo trail, I happened to see a restaurant near the main road "Where I waited for the bus to pick me up to town". While I was waiting for the car I visited curiously looking for something to drink, I'm a beginner, I didn't expect to find a vegetarian restaurant in this little village, but it's true. Fortunately, Village Pub & Cafe serves vegetarian food. Without hesitation, I felt energized, I decided to immediately order a cup of Coconut Coffee, a vegetarian stuffed eggplant, a deep fried mushroom for my lunch, the shop was not too crowded, I just needed 30 minutes for them to finish serving. The shop has a view over the mountains and terraced fields, near the main road and quite airy. I don't intend to leave a review, but I wanted to share this place for vegetarians like me to make it easier to find food for the purpose of "Chicken wings to fly, not to fry". Well worth recommending.

Village Pub & Café is running by a local Hmong family, it is in the village center, and so convenient for tourists visiting villages with stunning view of mountains and rice terraces
Read moreThere are many different foods and drinks served in the restaurant. It is famous for coconut coffee, Margarita cocktail, Village mocktail, fresh vegetable spring rolls, Vietnamese sandwich with French chips.
You can play the billiards for free
There are many helpful information about villages in Sapa, tours visiting around, buses to Hanoi or other cities provided FREE.
All the guests will be happy at the pub because of the friendly family and staffs working in the pub, especially 2 lovely girls - the host's daughters.
Free transfer back to guests homestay in the evening.
