Great vegan options

Dishes I tried:
🌱Green Banh Mi ($9) Lemongrass tofu, homemade vegan pate (made from mushrooms and almonds), fresh salad, coriander and chilli. This was really fresh and delicious and the roll was perfectly crispy!
🌱Lotus Root Chips with vegan sriracha mayo ($5) these are so crunchy and moreish, and the mayo is not overpoweringly spicy.
🌱Vegetarian Spring Rolls ($7.50) I loved how big and chunky these were - at least twice the size of some other spring rolls I’ve had - which means you can really taste the delicious filling!
🌱Saigon Summer drink with coconut water, strawberries, mint and lychee - so refreshing!
🌱Mini Viet Icecream - coconut icecream with banana and peanut bits ($4) - this was the perfect little treat to finish off with!
🌱Mango Sticky Rice ($7) - fresh mango, sticky rice, coconut milk and fresh mint. I got this to takeaway as I was so full! I warmed up just the rice, which is deliciously sweet and fragrant, and drizzled with the cold coconut milk, it comes with a generous amount of fresh mango too, so yum! 🤤

Other vegan options include: vegan pho, a vegetable curry, a lemongrass tofu salad and an eggplant tofu dish (dinner menu).

Viet-nah-mese

Was actually feeling a little let down by this place. I'd been meaning to try it for a while (especially the green pho!) and it seems as though they've reduced their menu in size. Unfortunately, this means the number of vegan offerings has reduced too.

In terms of the green pho, I wasn't incredibly blown away by the broth. I did add some sriracha (not heaps though) and felt like I was tasting more sriracha than broth. I also remember that the noodles were a little undercooked for my liking.

I probably wouldn't visit again because I know that there are other vegan Vietnamese options out there. Having said that though, I want to believe that this is just a matter of personal taste, as the pho was nowhere near bad. Just underwhelming.

Pros: Friendly and fast service

Cons: Expensive for serving size, Undercooked noodles 😣
