a special experience

This place is super cozy. Just 3 tables and one guy who runs it.
While he is cooking , you are invited to play some of his games (like jenga) which is a really nice idea!
We ordered a smoothie with was really good and the cook even gave us the rest which was too much and would not fit in the Glas. He also offered free coca tea.
We also had a lasagna, which was ok, and a pizza which was really nice but unfortunately a little bit to burned (black) on the bottom.
All in all I would really recommend going here if you are in cusco!

Pros: cosy, awesome staff, Games to play with

Cons: no outdoor seating

Absolutely delicious!

I can really recomment this restaurant. The owner is really friendly and sympathic.
The food is delicious and there are too many dishes I would like to try.

The ceviche was my favorite. The mushrooms which replaced the fish were fantastic.

Awesome!

Intimate spot with amazing food. The chef makes you feel right at home. He makes vegan meats, vegan cheeses, and pasta from scratch. Also serves pizza and a few Peruvian dishes. Everything is delicious. This is my favorite vegan spot in Cuzco. There are 3 tables now.

Great place!

Small and nice place.
The food is very rich, the owner is just amazing! Does all by himself and really cares about the quality, healthiness and variety of the food. Had a long talk with him (as much as I could with my Spanish...) and got really impressed.

Pros: All is vegan, a lot of options, High quality food, Comfortable prices

Cons: There aren't a lot of sitting places. So I&#39

A must if you are in Cusco!

What a wonderful restaurant! It is tiny - two tables - and obvious the chef and owner puts a lot of pride into everything he does. We had the mushroom ceviche, lasagna bolognese, and saltando pasta. Everything is made fresh to order, which means it can take some time, but the wait is worth it - everything was flavorful and nicely balanced. Highly recommended.

amazing food

A friend and I went for dinner. The owner is so sweet and the good is amazing. He makes everything himself. We had the sausage lasagna and the mushroom ceviche. Both were amazing. Only wished I could have eaten more. Can't wait to go back and try more of the excellent food

Lovely Restaurant

Small and quaint restaurant located in the area of san blas. I really appreciated the chef's attention to detail and I could tell he puts a lot of love in to his food. It was hard to choose from the menu as there are so many great options but I decided on a pizza and was not dissapointed. Everything was made fresh and i was even served with free tea and warm plantain chips while I waited. Please visit this restaurant when you are in Cusco.

Pros: fresh food, all vegan, friendly staff

Don't be fooled by the modest look... this place is special

Vida Vegan has just two tables and looks modest, but don't be fooled; this one-man operation is very special indeed and outdoes many of the so-called 'fine dining' vegan restaurants I've been to in Europe. Easily some of the best pasta I have ever had (vegan or not).
I tried the vegan cheese and spinach ravioli with pesto sauce & the bolognese lasagne. Samuel prepares everything fresh and by hand - so don't expect fast food, but it is worth the wait. The fresh beetroot pasta is extraordinary.
Words that spring to my mind are ingenious and inspired.
To top it all off, it is very clear that it's not just compassion and taste that Samuel cares about... health is very much up there as well. It is very rare for a vegan restaurant to tick all these boxes for me. I left feeling energised and happy.
It goes without saying that I'll be back!

Great little place

I found this bistro while walking the streets of downtown Cusco. Samuel, the chef and owner was very accommodating and a nice person. Everything that we ordered was pretty tasty and although I'm just vegetarian I greatly enjoyed this vegan cuisine that highlights local ingredients. I look forward to eating there again.

Pros: Taste, Ambiance, service

Cons: a bit hard to find

Amazing food experience!

Samuel is a very talented chef. His small bistro is cozy, and during the day time there is a full course with soup, main dishes, drink and dessert. During the night time the dishes are mostly formed by Italian cuisine. I had the bolognese lasagna with the aside chimmichurri sauce and my friend, is totally divine! Hopefully will go back again!

Pros: Several options, cozy environment, great chef

que gusta mucho

We heard of this restaurant through Facebook and since it was located near our hostel we gave it a try. Its only been open for like 3 months.
All of us three really liked the food. Everything was freshly prepared for us. Obviously this take a little bit longer, if everyone orders something different ;) cause he is currently all by himself. We had the daily menu for 20 soles which included a soup, main and a fresh lemonade or tea.
I would definitely go again cause we had great evening.

Pros: good price value, homemade pasta, open late
