Expensive and not very good - Edit
I found this place really expensive. I had the picarones- which were super greasy and left me feeling a bit nauseous.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere where we felt like sitting longer. One vegetarian meal couldn't be veganized (forgot which one).

Gerichte mit Fisch/Fleisch wurden serviert - Edit
Wir haben zwei vegetarische Gerichte bestellt und auch bei der Bestellung extra nochmals darauf hingewiesen. Die Speisen waren leider dann mit Fisch/Fleisch. Der Kellner meinte wir haben es bei der Bestellung nicht erwähnt... komische Reaktion. Ein Gericht wurde neu zubereitet. Das zweite leider nicht und ich fand ein Stück Speck in dem Gericht.. Das geht gar nicht! Der Kellner entschuldigte sich dann zwar und wir bekamen ein gratis Dessert aber ich war mit dem Restaurantbesuch nicht zufrieden.

Fui em 2019 e tive uma grande surpresa com o ambiente, o corredor cheio de ervas aromáticas pontadas em pequenos espaços, a feirinha de orgânicos da região e a comida simplesmente deliciosa!

Not very flexible - Edit
The good is that they have a whole page of vegan meals. The not so good is that they are not very flexible. A lot of the dishes have mushrooms as the main ingredient. I can’t have mushrooms. They couldn’t offer an alternative, as most places do.

Brought a dish with meat and weren't honest - Edit
The entries we had were good.
Read moreThe order for one of the main dishes got mixed up and they brought the plate with meat instead of the Vegan option.
They took it back but instead of cooking a new dish they probably just put the food in a new plate, removing the meat. So it was cold and the sauce tasted like meat... We had to insist and they finally admitted it and made a new vegan plate.
They then offered a free dessert and apologized.
I'd still rather go a fully vegan or vegetarian restaurant, there are many great places in Cusco!

Delicious options for vegans - Edit
This is a wonderful choice for vegans, centrally located off the main square and other popular tourist haunts. Its second-floor location is bright and airy, with lovely photos and other decor. Occasional evening musical entertainment. And most importantly, the food is sensational, with many nods to locally sourced ingredients.

Not really sure why is this restaurant on happy cow? They must have changed the menu or something because when we went there was only one vegetarian main course option- pasts with tomato sauce. Sorry but for a non veggie restaurant to be on happy how they should st least make an effort with their menu

Amazing, tasty and hospitable - Edit
I ordered the quinoa salad which was amazing! I also had a hot ginger and herbs drink which was tasty. They didn’t have any vegan dessert available but the chef made something up for me... lovely, welcoming staff and nice atmosphere.. when you reach the top of the stairs, you have the option to keep going ahead and there’s another large section of the restaurant.. nicer vibe in my opinion. I returned a couple of times and had the same lovely experience. Great food.

Vegan Options - Edit
The quinoa soup is delicious and vegan. The waiter spoke english enough to get me a vegan meal of grilled veggies and rice that was delicious. They know how to season food here! The atmosphere was clean, fresh and upbeat. I asked the waiter about the ingredients and he said as much as possible they use local, organic food. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We noticed their exterior sign had the word "vegan" and went in.
Read moreIt's an upscale restaurant, but everything on the menu is marked for vegetarian/vegan options, staff is helpful, knows what "vegan" means, and helped us make selections from recommendations.
We shared the grilled veggies appetizer, each ordered a soup, and each ordered a hot tea.
All of the items we tried were really great, but the appetizer was exceptional. I recommend that you order it to share with others. Delicious!
