Great little place in the heart of a great city - Edit
Popped in for a quick lunch on a Bank Holiday Sunday. Bright and welcoming small room and friendly staff. Not a huge menu but everything is vegan and the food was good and tasty and also not bad value at all for the city centre.

Nice lunch spot - Edit
Well located but quite busy and hard to find seating. A good sized menu of all vegan options inc cakes.
Read moreI had the cheeseburger for £6.50. The vegan meat was nice as well as the sauce, although I felt there were slightly too many gherkins. The food overall is good but not amazing, and the price is fair for central Manchester. For 5* it would need to make another step with the food.
Pros: Good service, All vegan, many options, Tasty

Terrible food, good service! - Edit
Menu looked interesting but I couldn’t eat my food. Like student food. Vegans are easily pleased it seems. I like my food to taste of more than salt 🧂 and “fried“. SMH Coffee wasn’t gross 😃

Environmentally UNfriendly - Edit
Great food and even nicer staff. HOWEVER, you can tell that it is just a 'cash in' on Veganism by the fact that every one of the 15+ plants that are in the cafe are plastic. Seems like a bit of an insult to vegans and to the planet. What a shame!

My first vegan restaurant experience - Edit
This was the first ever plant based eatery that I visited after becoming a vegan in January! It was actually really overwhelming to be able to choose anything from the (amazing) menu rather than having to pick from the one or two vegan dishes that are available in most restaurants. The food was incredible and the space was so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!

The way an English brekkie should be - Edit
I had the full breakfast and it was nourishing, relatively nutritious and the way an English brekkie should be. Lots of delightful lighter sweet and savoury options and damn good coffee with oat, soy, coconut or almond milk. One of the best vegan sausages I've ever had and the homemade beans were also delicious. Genuinely lovely staff with table service. Bright, warm and relaxed scandi-inspired space.

I only tried coffee there. And it was nicely made and served. My friend had scrambled tofu few days prior my visit and he was not happy with the dish. But I had a good experience.

The coffee is definitely worth a trip - Edit
We were in Manchester for the day and came here for lunch. I should say the food was perfect and in no reason for the missing star, that is unfortunately an accessibility issue. We had asked if they had a portable ramp anywhere and unfortunately they did not have one which to my knowledge is a legal requirement (within reason although there is only a single step so that wouldn't make it outside reason for not having one) so we struggled getting inside, although the barista at the front of shop came out and helped us in which was very kind.
Read moreSo back to the food, the coffee was one of the best we've had and their food was well worth the money, they had alot of cakes to choose from and everything looked so good.

Gorgeous!! - Edit
Spotted this gem on here whilst planning a trip to Manchester and decided I needed to check it out. The restaurant is cute and small, the staff are probably the friendliest I’ve ever encountered and the food is delicious. The portions are really great - we went for the tortillas with guacamole and vegan cheese to start, a sweet potato falafel bowl with rice and roasted red pepper for the main and a slice of the most gorgeous rose and pistachio cake for afters. My boyfriend (a serious carnivore) was even pleasantly surprised with the food (and he’s very VERY hard to please when it comes to eating). The in house white wine was lovely and the meal was ridiculously inexpensive in total. An absolute pleasure and the perfect evening!!

things on toast! - Edit
was disappointed with the menu and food, mostly things on toast, and not done that well imho. smashed avocado on sourdough was basically just that. I guess this place will do well, as there’s not much competition, but I think the menu and food could be much much better! service was great, as was the coffee, hence the 3 stars
