Blown away by flavours! - Edit
I would give the brunch 5 starts if I could. So much flavour in such simple ingredients. The staff were great too, would visit over and over again just for the bread alone. We had a breakfast roll and I would normally leave half the bread untouched as it overwhelms the filling, well not this time. We also had a full breakfast, finished it all, and even bought a bread loaf to take home with us.

Cons: Not too many options

Great little find - Edit
Found this place for breakfast thanks to Happy Cow. Vegan cooked breakfast was great and came with homemade baked beans, scrambled tofu and even vegan black pudding, among other things. Wish we could have gone back for lunch! Great facilities for working, too, and excellent service from friendly staff. A tad on the expensive side, but they clearly put a great deal of care and attention into their food (how many places make their own baked beans?!) so it was worth it, I’d say.

Nice place - Edit
During our stay in Manchester we came here twice for brunch and it was great, friendly staff, the coffee is amazing and they offer 2 vegan options for brunch: english breakfast (which is delicious) and coconut porridge (I didn't try that one), they also offer vegan peanut brownies and other vegan bakery goods

Top location, decor &, food... if you can get a table - Edit
The vegan options on the menu here are the best and most exciting options; which makes a change from the usual café fare. The decor and setting of cafe is really nice. It's a great place just for a coffee. But beware that it can get super busy and you might end up sitting on a table outside in the arcade if the weather isn't too cold.

Cons: Can get super busy, be ready to wait

Delicious salad & brownie - Edit
Very enjoyable despite a 30 minute wait for a table. Choices were a vegan salad (the Buddha Bowl), a hot bean & vegetable stew and a vegan brownie. The Buddha Bowl was delicious as was the brownie. They also had interesting drinks such as activated charcoal with a choice of plant milk. Didn’t try any however breakfast options included coconut porridge & bircher muesli. I trust they improve waiting times as it was the only downside to an otherwise memorable visit. Recommended

Great for vegans and vegetarians - Edit
I had the Asian Scrambled Tofu and although it was a little spicier than I would've liked, I admit it was delicious.
Read moreMy vegetarian partner devoured the Cinnamon French Toast. It was gone in seconds, so I think she must have inhaled it rather than eaten it. She may even have licked the plate but I wouldn't swear to it.
It's not the cheapest place in Manchester for a quick bite but it is definitely worth the money.
Pros: Vegan and vegetarian choices, Excellent food
Cons: Not the cheapest

Brilliant To Have Vegan Options - Edit
Pot Kettle Black is an independent coffee house and has had a refurbishment, since my last visit and looks fantastic, a cool kind of place for a coffee and cake, with friends or chilling on your own.
Read moreI ordered a large Americano and managed to bag the last vegan brownie, shows how popular vegan options are. The brownie was delicious, packed with chocolate flavour, topped with pecans and a really light texture.
PKB had a brunch menu on at the time of my visit, with 3-4 vegan options, so I can only presume that they also have lunch options available too, which I means I will have to return to find out.
Pros: Vegan Options, Vegan Milk Options Soya & Almond
