Surprisingly good vegan burger - Edit
Hadn’t read other reviews before coming here and was expecting an overpriced ok burger given the location but it was very good.Vegan chili not bad either. Looks like they no longer do the vegan Ruben that other reviewers recommended.

Beyond burger advertised on the website but now it’s listed as veggie burger. Website said vegan brioche available but they used gluten free sliced bread. Not very accommodating, but the beer list and location are good

Very friendly and accommodating when I asked about vegan options. Got the jackfruit tacos and tbh first place I actually enjoyed jackfruit! Also helpful when I couldn’t decide what to drink😂

Venice Ale House - Edit
I ate here with my step brother a few years ago, as he lives nearby and suggested this place. It wasn't my first pick given the vegan options at the time. The location is definitely in the heart of the Venice boardwalk...so if this atmosphere is what you're looking for, look no further. I had the chopped salad that was vegan and it was fine...just a basic salad. I also ate some of the chips/guac and they were fine too. I see they have a vegan burger option now, so I'll likely try that if I find myself eating here again.

Delicious vegan burger. The cocktails are pricey, but worth it if you're willing to splurge. Super cute spot - it can be a little chaotic to find a seat when it's crowded, but the view is great!

Disappointing - Edit
The menu has clearly changed since the photos taken previously. I decided to get the vegan patty, but the menu says Brioche Bun. I asked what comes with the Vegan burger and was told the brioche bun (making this not vegan). The waitress saw nothing wrong with this. She suggested I get the gluten free bun, but she didn’t know if that was vegan. She went to ask the chef, who told her that the sourdough bread was the only option.

Good options for everyone - Edit
Very good restaurant and nice ocean view. Went with friends for brunch that aren’t vegetarian and the restaurant have plenty of options for everyone, it’s kind of flexible in the menu and have a great natural fresh squeezed orange juice! I tried the Venetian omelette and instead of bacon I got tempeh.

I had received jackfruit tacos, a little too spicy because the cook was new. They had no problem switching it out for “can’t believe it is vegan chili” souper delicious 🤪

Many vegan options, large portions - Edit
Venice ale house surprised me with their large selection of vegan entrees. They go all out give you a lot of food, and it's uniquely good. They serve a ton of meat though, so be prepared for that.
