Best vegan burger - Edit
Best vegan burger we’ve had in Slovakia so far. Homemade spelt buns bring it to the next level. Other meals we tried were also delicious. Great coffee and cakes. Owners are very passionate about vegan food. Highly recommended!

Yet another nice, cozy, and vibrant vegan bistro with spectacular outside terrace right under the trees (literally 😊). Visited twice during our short stay in Prievidza and tried everything from the daily menu, everything tasted fantastic. I particularly like the 'thinking' of the cooks here. Dishes were put together in a well thought-out manner and the flavors worked perfectly together every single time. Delicious desserts, coffee and friendly staff almost seem like a mantra of vegan bistros lately but still deserve to be mentioned.
Read moreP.S. originally wanted to give 4 stars due to the extremely short opening hours - currently only Mon to Fri, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. - and for only offering daily menu which gives you very few opportunities to try all their amazing food, and no option to grab a dinner here. However, when writing the review I discovered that they used to have longer opening hours, also offering breakfast and a la carte menu and that the current operating conditions could have been a result of the COVID pandemic, so I decided to only focus on the food which, as mentioned, is amazing and gives you all the reasons to visit this place regularly if you are a local, and every time you are passing by if you're not.

Very good option for a lunch during business day - Edit
Rather small, but nice place to have your lunch during business day. I had a bean/coconut soup and as a main dish you can serve yourself with 3 - 4 options. When I visited the restaurant, there were raw green salad, beetroot/apple salad, rice, chickpea curry and some other sauce with vegetable chunks. You can also choose between raw or baked deserts. People who work there are nice and smiley. I recommend the place and definatelly will visit one more time when I am in Prievidza.

I had a quick lunch at VegFood today. The people are very friendly and were very helpful explaining the meals to me. The atmosphere is bistro-like. Today - at least when I was there - there was choice of three different main items (a pasta dish, rice and a curry-like sauce) and a salad. Price is by weight. I had the rice and the curry, and it was good, unexpectedly hot (as in spicy - but not too spicy), and cheap. Not a fine-dining place, more like a cheap quality lunch place.
