OKAY if you're a vegetarian, WORTHLESS if vegan - Edit
Drexel student (graduating this year) who has been a vegan since I got to this school and given that Drexel is not a particularly vegan friendly school at all I was very excited when I heard this place was opening up. As it turned out, like basically all dining options at Drexel it was a swing and a huge miss. All food is pre-made and basically just reheated and not of very good quality at all which to be fair is like all Drexel owned food places including Seasons across the street, etc. but still. And even if we ignore that my bigger issue is that it claims to be both vegetarian AND vegan friendly (their door has a Happy Cow sticker with a sign literally saying "Vegan options available" but if you go in you'll find that there are two vegan items on the menu: a smoothie (not food) and a salad (literally every restaurant in the world is vegan friendly if you're counting a single salad as being vegan friendly). As various other users have pointed out, almost every item that is vegetarian could EASILY have been made vegan but since everything is pre-made it's too late to ask for an omission now to make it vegan.
Bottom line is don't believe for a second that they have vegan options if you're a vegan (instead walk the few extra blocks and GO TO HIP CITY VEG INSTEAD). And if you're a vegetarian, then okay, MAYBE give it a try if you want but I would probably STILL recommend going to Hip City Veg since it's 1000x better even given that we're comparing vegetarian food to vegan food.
There is only 1 vegan option on the menu and it is a salad. The other menu items seem like they could be veganized easily but it turns out that many of their items are pre-made. On top of this, there used to be a couple of options on the menu, including tacos, which were vegan. I'm not sure if it turned out that they were never vegan but the same menu item is now only vegetarian due to the sauce. I tried these tacos without the sauce and they were incredibly bland. They only positive thing I could find here was their pre-packaged cupcakes which were vegan. So if you're looking for lunch (and you are vegan), I would advise against coming here.
Very nice little counter-service cafe, a great addition to the area around 30th St Station. New as of fall 2013. A nice touch is the very fresh condiment and seasonings bar. Very friendly staff.
Not everything was the same level of exciting, but here's what we tried: butternut squash soup (AWESOME) with fresh multigrain bread (AWESOME), lasagna (very good and very filling), Vietnamese tofu sandwich (again, amazing-quality bread, but less exciting as a sandwich). They'll let you taste any soup and both soups I tried were fantastic.
Important note: the address shows up on maps as being on the corner; it is actually inside a big plaza in the middle of the block, just past the Shake Shack (so if you've got anybody with you who thinks they MUST have a burger, you can still go here and eat together in the nice outdoor seating :)).
