Cheap delicious Thai food - Edit
Buffet style, rice with the option of 3 toppings. We asked the owner to pick these for us and we were not disappointed!

Best Thai - Edit
One of the best restaurant with Thai cuisine. Nice staff, tasty food and really not spicy on our request. I often get spicy food even I said no spicy but not at this place. They really know what they cooked.

Excellent little vegan resto - Edit
29-Sep-2022:
Read moreGoogle maps location is on the correct side of the street. Other gmaps reviews suggest it used to be incorrect. The business name is actually 'Jay Sook Jay' now. They showed me on their card machine) Also I think there is another place very close, so use Gmaps to locate.
The Jay vegetarian festival is on now, with vegan pop-ups everywhere, but this place is always here.
I paid 120 Baht for a full plate of rice and a few curries (tofu, jackfruit, etc.) plus a couple of types of fake meat. They have so many dishes to choose from, that I had choice paralysis!
Everyone else is correct; this is a wonderful, authentic, inexpensive, little vegan resto, with plenty of tasty options! 😋🤤🌱

Family place - Edit
Cheap and tasty and well organized. Generally the spicy stuff is on the right and the less on the left. These people are extremely friendly and the husband can speak a some English. The last few times I've been there was free. Buddha day I think. Amazing but don't expect free every time haha. The food is tasty and normal Thai price as the wife is cooking and the husband serving. This is always my spot whenever I go to Surin or Cherngtalay area. Location is super easy also. Not to be confused with the other place across the street closer to the Chinese temple. Update - Still there still open, and still top quality with top people!

Perfect stop before or after the beach - Edit
Tasty and affordable Thai Jay food . Bring your own containers and go for a picnic . Also try the small little soy balls off to the left . They are a little spicy but add really nice flavor when topped on any dish

Authentic Vegan Thai - Edit
I stopped here on my way to Banana Beach (one of the best beaches on Phuket) and was blown away by the selection and variety! It’s a buffet style place and if you have tried any of these here in Thailand you may know the food is not always hot (temperature of the actual food, not spicy level), but this place has hot food. The manager speaks pretty good English and was very friendly. I took a non-vegan and he was very impressed and loved his food! The best part about the place was the food but to top it off, we went on a day were the owner was celebrating something (didn’t quite understand what was being celebrated) but everything was free that day! I didn’t take advantage of the situation as the plate I was given was huge but I did try about 6 of the 16 or so options and 5 of the 6 I would order again on another visit. I’m not sure what the price would have been but it’s a locals spot so I think it’s very inexpensive compared to your typical Western owned vegan spots. Do yourself a favor and eat here! Drank two of the juices and the lemongrass sugar water is excellent.

Really cheap thai food - Edit
Small local cafe with really cheap vegetarian thai food. Many non-spicy or little spicy options, most meals are vegan. Friendly English-speaking staff . Free iced water. I definately recommend to try a tofu fish here, it's excellence!
