Delicious Food in a Garden Setting - Edit
We ate lunch at Vegan Town earlier this week; it has now become our new favourite restaurant!
Read moreThe setting is in the garden courtyard of a home and has a limited number of tables. Be sure to get there when the gates open.
The staff are welcoming, gracious and very helpful.
The menu is varied - to the point where I wasn't sure what to order and so will need to return to sample the other items.
Two of us had the lentil burger with side salad and the other two (including a very non-vegan friend) enjoyed the pesto pizza. All of our meals were beautifully presented, freshly made, flavourful and with abundant portions. All for a reasonable price.
Pros: Lovely, tranquil setting, Beautiful fresh food, Delicious flavours
Cons: A bit difficult to find; there is no outside sign.

This is my favorite from the sweet staff and owners to the high quality, well priced food to the relaxed and natural surroundings. The lentil burger is my favorite vegan burger if all time and their desserts are all amazing!

My 3 carnivore friends loved it - Edit
Went there with 3 friends that at least for 2 of them it was the first time having a pizza and we all loved it. They even said it's better than other pizzas they had around here. They enjoyed the baguet even more but I didn't try it as was busy enjoying the pizza after a while not having some. I also loved the Kombucha.

Visited this great restaurant recently and definitely will be going back! It’s hard to find pizza options that are not only plant based but also gluten free…huge plus for my kiddos. They loved it. Their salad was also yummy with tasty dressing. Nice to have a salad option that more than just lettuce and tomatoes.

Flavor- is superb. Tasty
Atmosphere - Care in preparation, the atmosphere is nurturing and kind, and the owners and staff march to a higher drummer. You never catch them having a "bad" day.
I run with friends who have eaten vegetarian food worldwide and were commenting that we have not experienced a vegetarian restaurant to top this --globally.
My philosophy is -- why eat anywhere else when you can eat at Vegan Town?

We had a fantastic meal. All ingredients were fresh and tasty. The cheese was fresh and tasted great. We had the caprese salad which was really good. And the Mexican baguette sandwich. Plus homemade limeade and passion fruit water. We have been here before and will come back. The place is cute and out of town enough so that you can park right on the street.

Vegan town is the best vegan cafe that I have ever had the pleasure of dining in. The food is fresh, tasty,abundant and prepared & served with great care & love. We live nearby so its our go to place for eating out. The prices are very fair for food that is mostly organic. We love the pizza and salads, try the rustic salad its my favorite! The owners are wonderful people who live the vegan life. There is seating both indoor & outdoors in their garden, so the atmosphere is pleasant, laid back perfect to enjoy a healthy & hearty meal.

Finally made it here. They had an hours change, Saturday is 12-8 and Sunday is 2-7. Well worth it! Tried a pizza, salad, and sandwich. Washed it all down with lemonades (ginger/rosemary and a mint). Service was awesome and so was the food. Flavor of the pizza was nicely balanced. Nothing too overwhelming. Crust was made from garbanzo flour. Salad was a nice mix, again nothing too overpowering. The fries were perfect. Overall, don’t miss this place! Going back ASAP!

I love trying new vegan restaurants, and ended up coming here several times while in town. I tried 3 of the baguette sandwiches, and all of them were incredible. The ingredients they used were fresh, the cook bringing them together did a great job, and the service and ambience were great. The juices were lovely as well. I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you’re in town, go get a baguette sandwich. You’ll never regret it!

Lots to choose from, plus we were able to request no oil where possible (saute in water, for instance). The Rustic Salad is my favorite and probably the healthiest all-time vegan salad I've ever had. I also tried the Jamaica (?) with the hibiscus flowers, and the Hawaiian baguette sandwiches. Both were excellent and creative. I had the Home Pizza as well but although tasty, I'll order something different next time. Chocolate mousse was delicious too!

This was probably one of the best bites of food i've ever had in my life. My non vegan family and friends loved it as well and were shocked how much they preferred this place over any other restaurant in Ajijic.
