first impression - Edit
So good to see another vegan cafe and in such a good location. So for my first time in my lunch break I thought I would try a take away. Staff were friendly enough but my take out dumplings didn't look very appetising floating in oil and really didn't taste of anything. So disappointing. Cake was good though. Maybe I'll try again with something different but there is so much good vegan food to be had elsewhere for the same money that it would have to be a lot better tasting next time. Maybe eating in is better! Sorry but only 3 stars.

A great find - Edit
Had lunch here today with my sister, delicious avocado sandwich and a subtle Persian curry followed by chocolate covered dates and a chocolate and coconut cheesecake(divine!) Food tasty and well priced. Service a bit slow and we were provided with very odd jam jar type glasses to drink from. Atmosphere good and would definitely eat here again.

So disappointing - Edit
The staff are very nice, and the environment is welcoming, but the food is extremely mediocre. This food is not going to encourage anyone to become vegan. I would have only given it a one cow rating but 2 seems to be the lowest allowed. I really hope they will make an effort to improve the food because it would be wonderful to have a good vegan cafe in that location.

Cheap, cheerful and friendly - Edit
Great new cafe tucked away. The portion sizes are just right for a light lunch, not so big that you can't finish it. The food is good, not amazing, but very nice to fill a hole. The staff were very friendly and the service was super quick. I'll definitely go again!

What a great find - Edit
Brilliant, very good value especially for central London. Great choice, lovely cakes, very clever use of space. All that plus a Hillside collection box on the counter, you can't ask for more.....

Ordered the Hotdog and a Mango Beetroot salad... Both were delicious but my favorite was the hotdog with the homemade condiments. Very yummy and not absurdly priced!

Nice desserts - Edit
We had a coffee and great chocolate cake and delicious dates stuffed with peanut butter and covered in chocolate. Very filling! I would definitely recommend smaller portions as we were not able to finish them up. Nice staff, place is very clean, kids friendly and stylish restroom!

It's okay - Edit
Went there today. I hope they will improve on the menu as now it seems quite a junk food. There is a time and place for everything but if you want something healthy, don't expect much. Convenience foods such as sausages, mock meat and cheese, and quite soya based. Another disappointing thing-lots of disposable packaging. If I'm eating in, do I really need a cling film on my sandwitch or dessert in disposable dish (yeah yeah it's compostable but why not the one you can wash?). The great thing is though that they have multiple choice of plant milks for hot drinks! I don't want to be negative but if the menu stays more or less the same, I don't plan to go there just because it's vegan...

I was there on opening day and the food was great! - Edit
I went to Vegan Cafe' the day it opened: as it is normal with new venues, there were the usual teething problems... staff not to sure of what's available, cash only, etc. but you can see it will be a really great place once these small creases have been ironed out.
Read moreWe had a gyros wrap, smooth, delicious and indulgent, and a greek moussaka, equally filling and delicious. The potatoes on top were to die for. The food was really impressive: tasty, not sparing on flavours, just really nice! Even the salad dressing was good.
Keep in mind this is a cafe': do not expect aragula and pea shoots leaves style of food, but be confident that what they make is beautifully cooked and seasoned!
The space is also very cute, with a feminine slant: the type of place which is ideal for a morning or afternoon break with a friend, with hot chocolate and cake. I think they may soon need to change the layout to allow for more seating space, which at the moment is pretty limited. Demand may be high enough!
Pros: Great food, Nice, cozy space, Appropriate prices: not low, not high
Cons: Not many seats (but comfortable), Teething problems(they will sort it out)

Great vegan burger - Edit
This place is great. I don't know why it doesn't say vegan here, because all the food there is. it's a very cozy small cafe. I had the mexican burguer and it was amazing.
