Fantastic vegan menu, & owner is so nice. - Edit
Chef/owner was lovely! I had a cup of lentil soup (a little bland, but tasted fresh and not too salty) and the starter plate of vegan meatballs (no pasta) - with a side of house made bread. Meatballs were tasty if a bit soft. Sauce was delicious.

Vegan menu! - Edit
Came here for the vegan menu and got the rigatoni alla mamma and garlic knots. I didn't get the pizza cus I've had vegan pizza at umberto's lake Grove so wanted to try more. The portions are big and pasta and knots were very good! Can't wait to return!

The staff is great & friendly. My fav to get here is either their marinara slice that’s pure garlicy goodness & doesn’t even need cheese bc it’s so good. Or, the vegan deep dish pie. I’ll order a whole pie for myself tbh & heat it up in my toaster for the next few days (it heats up perfectly) they have a lot of options & their vegan knots are delicious as well.

I had the vegan meatball Parmesan hero, and it was delicious. They make their own vegan meatballs. They have a separate vegan menu. I ate the food so fast I forgot to take a picture of it. I can’t wait to go back and try more options.

Came in really late about 1 hr before closing and they still had vegan pizza by the slice left on the counter. Got 1 cheese and one mushroom/olive slice. Both were great and even omnivores liked the pizza. Cheese wasn’t sticky. The customer service was great too. The people were very friendly and helpful with what was /wasn’t vegan

Vegan grandma pie was delicious. Garlic knots were mediocre and we did not care for the garden meatballs. Buffalo cauliflower was just steamed cauliflower in Buffalo sauce - we expected it to be dipped in a batter.

A relatively new vegan menu (with a catering option for all dishes) which is just so delicious! Pizzas, garlic knots, pasta dishes, and all excellent portion sizes. Has become our go-to pizzeria!

The vegan pie is simple, but effective. Staff is friendly and easy-going. Limited options though. The vegan broccoli/veg-topped slice is a nice options as well.

Umberto's is famous for their pizza and homemade Italian dishes. Now they have added a vegan menu at their Sayville location and it is amazing! They have provided delicious and creative options. Standouts are the vegan pizza slices and the vegan pesto! They have even added a Vegan catering menu for trays of vegan food.
