Usually fine but don’t eat late

Usually everything here is fine. Not the freshest food but a good range of vegan options. They say the last sitting for food is at 11pm but when I ate here around 10.30 the food came out before our drinks (which arrived in plastic disposable cups) and it was drier than usual.

Delicious

We had the marinated plant-based “chicken” breast, chargrilled & topped with our rich jerk. Served with rice and 'peas' and pineapple.

We got extras of the fried plantain and callaloo. It really hit the spot.

Pros: Vegan options clearly labelled, Some very tasty vegan Caribbean foods, A good vibe

Big vegan grill down and bottomless brunch is 10/10

-cocktails great and most are vegan e.g. coconut milk Jamaican wake up
-many vegan options (both burgers are also good)

Clearly labelled menu for both food and drinks.

We had the bottomless brunch deal: pick your food and order as many drinks as you can in a two hour sitting. The food was great and all of the menu items were clearly labelled as vegan where appropriate. I paid more for the Buddha bowl, but it was worth it.

Lovely little bites

We decided to try some of the small plates and sides. Trini doubles, sweetcorn fritters, festivals, curried chickpeas, sweet plantain and spiced fries.

The curried chickpeas were the star here. Such a great flavour, could have eaten a larger portion of this.

All were very tasty and it was happy hour on cocktails.

All clearly labelled on the menu and lots of vegan options.

Pros: Lots of choice , Clearly labelled , Quick service

Nice vegan food in vibrant restaurant

My wife and I had a meal here on a trip to Birmingham. I had sweetcorn fritters for a starter, that were very tasty. For mains we both had the No moo burger which we both enjoyed, nice and juicy. My wife had vegan ice cream for dessert that she said was very creamy compared to other vegan ice cream that she had had.

Pros: Roughly one quarter of the menu is vegan, Great vibrant atmosphere , Good selection of vegan drinks

Caribbean Social

Arrived 7.15pm and it was very busy, mostly local office folk I think, quieter by 9. Warm welcome. Bit noisy.

Great food. Great service.

The Trini Doubles were lovely although the roti was a little overdone and brittle it still tasted amazing.
The Motherclucker Burger was delicious, my non vegan friend tried it too and was amazed - working on converting her slowly :-).

Am looking forward to going back and trying the bottomless brunch as I hear the YardBird is the best!

Pros: Great vibe, Choice of seating, Tasty food

Cons: Downstairs toilets, Can be a little noisy (that could be a good thing)
