Really Good Thali! - Edit
The vegan Thali was a winner. It comes with one or two curries of your choice and several other dishes including dahl and a spiced potato dish. A good variety of tasty food and very well presented. The vegan curries are available as separate dishes if you aren't hungry enough for the Thali.
Read morePros: Separate vegan menu., Good service and didn't wait too long.
Cons: The vegan curry choice is limited.

Terrific Thali - Edit
Shared the Tamatanga Thali, which consisted of two curries (we got the five spice aloo and chickpea curry), daal, two veg dishes, salad, rice, chutney, poppadums and a tandoori roti.
Read moreThe thali was terrific, with the curries, two veg dishes and daal all really flavoursome and well spiced. The salad, roti and chutney were delicious too.
Staff were friendly and the kids activity sheet was a nice touch.

The thali was good. Sure, not the most authentic feeling place but the food was good and the service friendly. Worth a visit.

Delicious - Edit
We ordered the vegan thali each. You get a choice of curry dishes so we chose aubergine, chickpea, potato and lentils. All were very flavoursome but the chickpea curry was probably our favourite. Get there before 7pm to make the most of their 2 for 1 cocktails! Wine is labelled as vegan, too.

Lots of choice & delicious - Edit
Love this place, have been a few times now, just with the hubby and on a couple work of nights out. Its popular and busy so I'd recommend booking (easy to do online). Separate vegan menu, 241 cocktails early evening, if that's your thing. I've had the Thali a couple of times which is delicious but also massive. Last night I opted for the ragda pattice (potato cakes with Dahl and chutney) and their biryani. I loved it all, the biryani is jam-packed with veg, really tasty and not greasy. I was still so stuffed though so probably should have ordered less but the food is sooooo good, I just couldn't resist.
Read moreI love Indian food and eat a lot of it but Tamatanga is a bit different and it's so good to have a lot of choice. Service has always been really friendly and good as well.
Pros: Lots of choice, Great food that's a bit different , Good service
Cons: Usually busy, as the food is so good

Messed up the order - Edit
The food was ok. It wasn’t oily or heavy like Indian restaurant food can sometimes be, but it was a little too spicy and otherwise bland. The main issue was that they served my partner a non-vegan biryani and took a very long time to replace it with a vegan one, so much so he had no time to eat it.
Read moreOf course mistakes happen from time to time, but few apologies were made and we received no compensation and paid for a full meal that we didn’t eat.
Pros: Lots of vegan choice
Cons: Bad customer service

Amazing Food + Plenty Of Options - Edit
I ❤️ Indian food so it’s hard for me not to enjoy a curry but this really was delicious.
Read moreI had the Thali which is a selection of different things with a vegan nan, popadoms rice and a few different bits of curry which I loved.
The service was also great we got seated quickly without a booking and the order was taken after 5-10 mins and explained the bits on the menu I wasn’t sure of and it came out really quickly too. Also a dedicated vegan menu which I’m always a fan of ❤️ to avoid any confusion.
Pros: Delicious food, Dedicated vegan menu , Great service
Cons: The Thali was pretty pricey at around £18

Great vegan Indian food - Edit
This place serves delicious Indian food and has a separate whole vegan menu. I always had the vegan thali with different varying small dishes such as dahl, naan bread, garlic potatos, spinach curry etc. Prices are really reasonable for the size of the thali. The staff was always super friendly. The place tends to get really full in the evenings so better place a reservation

Separate vegan menu - Edit
Stumbled across this place which had a separate vegan menu. Had the ragda pattice which was tasty and the biryani bowl. Comes with sauce on the side. Enjoyed both. Possibly a little too rich for me, but that is a personal preference. I thought it was good you can get the curry bowls as either a side or a main. Very central location although parking may be an issue.
