really good food and nice place

Pros: grand choix, cheap , amazing place

All you can eat buffet for 35,000 VND

The photos on here are so outdated. I almost didn't find the place because it looks nothing like on the photos. They offer a vegan buffet and serve primarily vegetables. There is hardly any mock meat which I love! They also usually have pineapple and lichies which are really delicious. You can eat as much as you want and no matter how much you eat you only pay 35,000 VND. Every time I went I also got free soup on top of it all. Even if you get take-out you get a whole bunch of food.

The place can get incredibly busy with locals so make sure to get there around 12 PM. The people working there are really lovely! They have red and white rice. Definitely go for the red one, it's the best! I went there heaps of times when I stayed in Hanoi and loved it every time. The food is simple yet very tasty. If you are looking for a low-key all you can eat place, then this is your spot. I highly recommend it!

PS: As I said, it looks nothing like on the photos. It must have gotten a complete make-over. It truly is a lovely place to have lunch at :)

Pros: All you can eat buffet for 35,000 VND, Lovely staff, Pineapple!

A nice place to try

a *family run* eatery with great dedication from a long time ago. A typical Vietnamese grassroot vegan eatery indeed :) Vegan food should be like this: affordable for everyone.
I also told the people here about the harmful and dangerous side of using msg and mock meat (mock meat in Vietnam contains so many toxic chemicals and MSG!)

Will come back for sure, to see if things changed

Location is not a big problem.

Pros: affordable price , typical vietnamese grassroot vegan eatery

Cons: still use a bit mock meat , msg , no english spoken staff

Worth a try

An Binh is very difficult to find. We asked a local and were shown the alleyway. There was no sign outside and nothing to indicate there was a restaurant back there. The restaurant is about 20 metres down the winding alleyway.
We arrived at lunchtime and it was crazy busy. There is a large help yourself table on the corner but it's cut-throat. Without owner intervention people take entire plates full of one item (the best one). The result is that the unpopular dishes pile up so if you arrive at an unlucky moment, that's all you'll have to eat.
Most of these eateries in Vietnam are heavy on mock meats. An Binh is not to their credit. Most of the plates contain real vegetables. That said, the vegetables were not what I would consider a good standard compared to other street food in Vietnam.
I wanted to give An Binh a second chance but other places nearby were just too tempting when I was hungry so I never went back.

Pros: different experience, very local

Cons: impossible to find without help, no system so you have to be a little aggressive to
