I ate here as part of a day tour so I had no choice in what alternate meal I was given (the rest of my group were meat eaters). They served me the region’s traditional orecchiette pasta with big hunks of broccoli stalks as broccoli is in season (they served the meat eaters the same but also with anchovies). I don’t like broccoli stalks and after picking them out, the dish was simply plain pasta so not very exciting, although to be fair I doubt I would have found it exciting even with the broccoli stalks. The meat eaters got a second course of meat and I didn’t get anything as an alternative. Additionally we were seated in the room behind the kitchen which was very hot and I was dehydrated for a few hours afterwards even though I drank a lot of water at lunch.
