One of my favorite grocery stores! So many vegan options! And they’re always adding new ones. Unfortunately things cycle with the seasons, so somethings aren’t available year round, but it’s also kinda exciting each season for the new options!

TJ’s has some incredible vegan options at low prices. As of summer 2021, check out the vegan caramelized onion dip, frozen chicken tenders, pork-less rinds, garlic dip, kale pesto, refrigerated oat beverage and SO many more!

I love the fruits and veggies here! Very vegan/vegetarian friendly store. The Pan Pauline is amazing (made the way bread is supposed to be made, with only three ingredients!) The pea protein burgers are also amazing and a great source of protein.

I grew up actually going to the main Trader Joe's in Monrovia California and when I moved to North Carolina I went crazy without it. Some will complain that the prices are high, but they are lower than a specialty organic store. Very reasonable, and even cheaper than Big-Mart stores on many items that in the BigMart would be considered "specialty". Wide selection and lots of little special suprises you wouldn't find normally.

Pros: Happy staff, huge variety, reasonable prices
Cons: Not a one-stop shop, get addicted to expensive snacks
