Vegan Froyo! - Edit

Note (7/25/23): I am changing my review from 3 stars to 4 because, during my visit, I missed the other vegan flavors (including non-fruit-based ones!) and many toppings. I look forward to trying this shop again in the future!

While walking around Historic Downtown Snohomish, I decided to stop by Top It for a cold treat on a warm day. There were only two vegan options today, and both were fruit-based (dole whip and pomegranate raspberry). The vegan options were labeled with a “v,” but be careful not to confuse it with “nd” (nondairy) as, to my knowledge that is not vegan. There were also toppings, with the vegan options mainly fruit and one housemade candy.

I chose the dole whip, and it was tasty and veryy creamy! It was also relatively inexpensive compared to other froyo shops I have been to. For the area, even though there were very few options, I was happy with my treat.

Hello Lorraine - thanks for sharing this. I'm so glad you came in to visit our shop! I'm also very happy that you enjoyed your treat. What I am sorry about is that you didn't get to experience everything while you were here. We actually currently have five vegan flavors - the two you mentioned in your review plus chocolate, vanilla, and green apple. I think you must have missed them because we have machines on both sides of the shop. When facing the machines with the pineapple and pomegranate raspberry, if you turn over your left shoulder, the other machines are right there behind you. I'm sorry you didn't get to experience our other flavors when you were here. They are so good! The chocolate and vanilla are made with oat milk and are so delicious and creamy.

I'd be interested in hearing from you what would have made it easier for you to see these toppings as viable options for you and if there are other toppings & flavors you would be interested in. @kcoman Hello! Thank you for the reply. I’m sad to have missed the other vegan options, but I look forward to trying them in the future! I love to see so many vegan froyo flavors and toppings. I am not sure how I missed the other vegan options, but I think I saw them labeled non-dairy and didn’t take a second look, as I assumed they weren’t vegan (which sounds silly as I type this out).
