Exceptionally cozy and friendly - Edit

Great coffee too (wish I had known about the vegan cream cheese), but for me the best thing about Looking Glass is how cozy it is. As a self-professed cozy cafe connoisseur, I can confidently assert that this place is well worth a visit.

Great bagels w/ vegan cream cheese! - Edit

A very nice, artsy coffee house in the midst of downtown snoho. They had soy and Oatmilk for options for coffee. I loved the seasonal pumpkin spice latte and the bagel with vegan cream cheese! I recommend not going on weekends but if you do go early!

Pros: Decor, Bagels, Coffee

Could be great! - Edit

Fab location and set up really nice inside. Very cozy. Tried the Veggie Delight sandwich which came with a small salad for $15. Made fresh, it looked delicious but was bland. Couldn’t taste the the vegan mayo at all. Vegan cheese appeared to be Chao. Salad was literally just mixed greens with a tiny sprinkle of vinegar? Also tasteless, sadly. With a few tweaks the food could be great. They also have a premade sandwich called Molly’s Hangry Vegan wrap for $9. I loved the ambiance so much I’ll probably go again and try the wrap. They have a Backyard Green salad which is vegan. I’m sure extra dressing would be very necessary.

Pros: Very cute place, A few vegan options , Plant-based milks

Cons: Food lacks flavor

I haven’t tried their food, but I know they can make good coffee! They can make a peppermint mocha if they don’t use the powder.

Drinks are probably fine, but don't expect to eat here - Edit

When you order ahead online, the system says your order will be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived after 20 minutes, and only my drink was ready. They're very busy so I'm not too concerned, and they tell me it will be a bit of a wait for my food.

I give them another 20 or so minutes before I ask about my food again. The employee couldn't find my order in the system anymore, and started asking around to see if anyone knew what happened. They eventually find a record of my order, and I'm told they're out of all the food I was waiting on.

I ask for a refund, but the employee is very apologetic and gives me a vegan wrap "on the house". He ensures me they're just going to refund everything (even my drink) due to the trouble and nearly an hour wait.

They did not in fact refund everything. I spent about $20/$25 and was refunded about $5/$6.

I went back today with some friends, and they were out of all the vegan food but the wrap again.

If all you want is coffee they seem like they're fine. They either know or can easily check what's vegan for you. But I'm never going to order online, or expect to eat here again.
