My favourite lunch place - Edit
Easily one of my favourite places in Norwich. Frequently get my lunch from here as they have a fantastic sandwich selection that changes daily, as well as regular options such as burgers, bagels, pasties and sausage rolls. The coffee is great and the cakes are ridiculously good.
Read moreOn top of the grab-and-go options, they also sell frozen pizzas, vegan sweets and snacks, and their own locally-made tofu products, all for very reasonable prices that are much lower than the supermarket options (AND even comes in biodegradable packaging!)
The staff are wonderful and are always happy to help customers just starting to try vegan as well as experienced vegans looking for something new.

Whenever I am in Norwich, I grab some cake from Tofurei. It is always delicious and does not disappoint!

I tried a breakfast bagel, sausage roll and cake. I get tofu is there thing but a tofu sausage roll is maybe not the best idea but it was pleasant enough is lacking in taste and texture. The bagel was thoroughly enjoyable as was the cake. They are simple but done well.

The only reason this isn’t five star for me is the food isn’t stand out, you wouldn’t tell your friends they need to try it. But it’s simple food done nicely, not every meal needs to be stand out.

We visited today and found it as good as promised. I had a vegan bacon and scrambled egg sandwich, which was tasty and fresh. I took home some cake and ate two pieces in one sitting because it really was so lovely and moist and not overly sweet. Wish I had the recipe as I struggle to make such good sponge at home. I would definitely recommend making the effort to find this place. It also has seating outside - useful if you have dogs, and the staff were very friendly.

I honestly go to this cafe every Saturday and have never had a less than 10/10 experience. Staff are lovely, there’s always lots of cake and savoury foods. Plus they make their own soya milk and tofu which is amazing! They sell all my fave vegan food products and have a meal deal at lunch. Dog friendly too and has an outdoor seating area.

This is one of my favourite place in Norwich for desserts. It's not expensive and is tasty. The cheeseburger was good, not great but the Hawaiin Pizza tasted and smelled very bad.

Tofurei is like a utopian paradise, its what I hope the future is like. Everything is vegan and a delicious and you are guaranteed a warm welcome and usually a chat.
Read moreThe soysage rolls are a staple, the tofu is perfect (and you are able to take your own containers to save packaging and prevent squashing it in your pannier), the cakes are wonderful, the coffee lovely and I day dream about the ham and cheese croissants.
Everyone should go here, its marvellous.

I had come across Tofurei's food many times before visiting the cafe itself. I have eaten their cakes and sausage rolls at a vegan Christmas fayre in Norwich and regularly buy them at UEA. Always a delight and a treat after a hard day of studying!
Read moreThe cafe has a lovely atmosphere - very welcoming and peaceful (although we were not there at peak time!). The staff are charming and helpful. An exciting selection of teas is available in the cafe. I will visit again!
