Couldn’t resist a Tofurei t- shirt too
They were serving lunch when we visited- again all looked delicious
Very friendly & helpful

Lovely café - and more - Edit
The "more" means they also make tofu, and they sell frozen meals to take away.
Read moreSweet treats, hot drinks, sandwiches (a seasonal Festive Feast). Frozen meals to take away and bake at home. The Banoffee Custard Rocky Road is decadent (not to be consumed in one go!). There is seating upstairs plus stools at a window bar on the ground floor. The menu includes pie-and-mash with peas and gravy (Fridays & Saturdays), jacket potatoes, tofu noodle soup and pasties. I want to try everything on the menu!
The festive pie (Nov 2022) is tasty, served with green peas, mashed potatoes and gravy. Lovely, seasonal table decorations.
Nice toilets too.
Pros: all vegan, house-brand tofu, frozen meals to take away

We had a lovely slice of cake and a Jaffa cake pie, as well as buying some tofu to take home, which was really good. They also gave us the last sausage roll as it was the end of the day! Thanks!

Nice place for lunch. Could do with some hot food though. - Edit
The food was really good, and though there weren't many savoury options, what they did have tasted great. Could have done with something hot and maybe some fries or something?

Lovely Vegan Cafe but limited food choices - Edit
Had Tofurei on my list to visit when in Norfolk. We arrived at 1.30 on a Tuesday & unfortunately there was only 1 sandwich, quiche & a few bits of cake left which was a bit disappointing after seeing so many lovely looking food photos!
Read moreThe smoked quiche was really nice, the sandwich was nice too, however our cakes were really dry & a bit of a let down.
Enjoyed the lovely painted pigeons & the staff were friendly.
Sadly I don't think I would visit again.

Cutest vegan cafe ever - Edit
If you have £10 to spare for a light lunch, you can enjoy it upstairs surrounded by plants and pigeon decor (love this). The staff are genuinely so lovely and it’s my favourite place to chat with friends over some snacks in Norwich.

Lovely vegan café with gf options - Edit
I had the gluten free all day breakfast wrap and the gluten free honeycomb cheesecake. Both were absolutely delicious. So nice to have my dietary needs catered for with such good options! We loved the theming, the decor and the atmosphere of the café.

Nice little vegan spot - fairly limited menu - but all very nice and they have gf options. Inside and small area of outside seating. Had the soya ‘tuna’ salad sandwich and a sushi rice bowl - both very fresh and very tasty. The cakes were pretty good too.

Lucky enough to have lunch at @tofurei this lunchtime. A really nice lunch, good atmosphere and great service. Sarah went for the Chick'n Tofu Salad sandwich & a Pumpkin & Courgette muffin. I went for the Mushroom & Leek Pastie and a Bicoff Vanilla Cake because holiday calories don't count! 🙄

One of my favourite places! - Edit
I have been going to Tofurei since they opened in Pottergate, both for eat-in lunch and take-away goods. At Christmas I order sausage rolls, vegan artisan cheeses and chocolates etc! I recently had a coffee/sandwich lunch at the new premises and it was delicious. Came to about £8.00 and was worth it! I live in a village outside Norwich and during lockdown Tofurei delivered vegan orders which was really helpful. I have taken non vegans for coffees/lunch and they love the cakes there. Thank you Tofurei.
