Location good, food yunny and cheap. Close to ram jhula and a nice plafe to stop for lunch. They have brown rice and it's very good.

We’ve been here multiple times during our stay in Rishikesh. They have several options with tofu, like the tofu palak which is great. Our other favorite is pumpkin masala. It has a great view of Ganga and the staff is kind.

This restaurant is easy to miss if you don't see the sign - you have to ascend a metal staircase to get to the entrance, but don't let that deter you - it is most definitely worth the climb. Gorgeous Ganga views and exceptional food await. The menu is teeming with vegan options, and everything is prepared fresh to order. It may take a few minutes extra to get your food, but that's because it's fresh, and the portions are huge. They have everything from delicious fresh juices to tasty soups, including a vegan French onion with no cheese. Cuisines include Indian, Tibetan (try the veggie momo dumplings), Italian (perfectly cooked penne arrabiata), sandwiches, incredible hummus with warm pita (highly recommended), Chinese fried rice and noodles (many with tofu, expertly prepared), Mexican, American/Western (the tofu mushroom burger is exquisite and the fries/chips are tasty), and Middle Eastern. Everything is prepared downstairs in the kitchen and the same guy brought us our food and cleared our table each time - this guy spends all day lugging heavy dishes up and down the stairs with a smile on his face, so please make sure to show him some extra love. Ridiculously inexpensive prices for food and service this good - we were there at least 4 times in one week. Open all day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Can't recommend it highly enough.
