We were nicely surprised that we could bring our bikes inside. Close to train station. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere, and the food was good as well. Recommended.

Wonderful burgers - especially their specials when you catch them. Starters are delicious and the staff are friendly and cheery. Worth the 90 minute round trip to eat here as a treat.

Tried out Timmy’s Bar & Kitchen today with my fiancé and we were so impressed. Beautifully decorated restaurant, great service and food was delicious. We had the French and Canadian burgers, cheese melts and fries - everything was delicious. 10/10 would recommend the burgers to fellow vegans!

Tim is an angel. He is so thoughtful and kind I've had to re-evaluate my whole understanding of what kind is. Once he personally delivered a meal knowing it was for a birthday and appeared with a surprise vegan confectionary with lit candle in it at the door .....

My wife and I have used Timmys take away service twice now, the service is excellent and the food is awesome. Delivery was Covid safe and just like the food was spot on, the driver is really pleasant and completely adds to the great team effort. Whether you are vegan, vegetarian or a carnivore give them a try you won't regret it and may surprise your self. Can't recommend Timmys enough.

Amazing vegan food, great atmosphere and awesome service. Basically got them to make me my own dish of loaded nuggets, and it was phenomenal. The owner seems lovely and is really leading the frontier of vegan food around here. Would definitely not miss this!

We stopped here en route to Scotland and it was a perfect pit stop. The burgers were yummy, our little boy enjoyed his hot dog and chips, and the cupcakes were delicious! Best of all Timmy seems a really lovely guy and was very accommodating of our toddler jumping about on the stage area (which has some lovely soft fake grass that he loved!)

Got greeted right away and felt so welcomed into this gorgeous place. The food came so fast and tasted incredible. I couldn't recommend this place enough and eager to go back already. Plus the fact there is vegan cheesecake, what more do you want! 😍

Popped in today for lunch with my partner, we both had the cheeseburger and a slice of cheesecake. Absolutely delicious, a lovely place and Timmy was so lovely, so passionate, the whole experience was just wonderful! You should be really proud of everything you've done especially during such strange times. Will be recommending to everyone far and wide! We can't wait to come back :)

So happy to find this place on here! Came during a holiday to Carlisle and wasn’t disappointed. Nice choice of burgers, wraps, pizzas, gyozas and chips. The owner and waitresses seemed like genuinely lovely people, great relaxed atmosphere and the food was actually really great. We both had pizzas and they had lots of toppings, really nice vegan cheese and were perfectly thin and crispy on the bottom. Worth it.

Time for a real review now. We stumbled upon this green beacon of hope when wandering Carlisle hopelessly looking for a Vegan dinner. We booked a table over Facebook Messenger (super easy) and were amazed at what we found when we turned up. Timmy was at the bar ready to greet us, showed us to our table and gave us our menus. Such a wide variety of food on offer, and from what was being taken to tables around us it all looked amazing. We ended up with 2 burgers which were completely out of this world, the best I think I've ever had. We ended up having 2 dinners and a breakfast at Timmys in 3 days, and getting to know Timmy himself quite well by the end of our stay. So much aspiration for this man, he's done an amazing job in a not particularly vegan area. We will definitely be back and are looking to book something around Christmas for the sake of coming back to Timmys... All the best mate 👍

The best vegan restaurant I’ve been to! - Edit
I was so pleased to find this absolute beauty of a restaurant in a relatively non-vegan friendly area! We were staying just across the road and were so excited to find Timmy’s. Timmy is SO passionate about what he does and it’s amazing to see. You can really see this reflected in their amazing menu - so varied, and yet every dish is created with love, making sure all the flavours work, and using the best ingredients from around the north. There’s lots of seating, and the restaurant is really arty and well decorated. You’ll feel so welcome and cosy in there! We’re going back tomorrow😄

We had a most enjoyable meal at Timmy's having arrived after the restaurant should have shut but ravenous after a long cycle ride. Our meal was very tasty and we were made welcome despite our late arrival.

Carlisle isn’t very good for vegetarian food, let alone Vegan. Ordered for delivery. Very very fast service. The food was exceptional. The best ‘burger’ I have had! I had the ‘cheese burger’ and my partner had the Mexican and WOW absolutely blown away. Going to be a weekly visit I think!
