Exceptional Vegan Moussaka! - Edit
There was a good selection of vegan options. I had the vegan moussaka and it was to die for. Just the right balance of flavours. I will be back!!!

Great vegan option - Edit
We had the vegan platter for two. The food was amazing, the moussaka had a great use of lentils to give it some heft - the fava beans were incredible and some of the best hummus I’ve ever had. Everything was delicious and the service was great too. Worth a visit.

Multiple Vegan Options - Edit
Theo’s has a traditional Greek menu with multiple vegan options labeled even though the online menu shows fewer vegan choices. I tried the vegan moussaka, which featured eggplant, potatoes, and lentils with a nut-based bechamel sauce and a good quantity of nutmeg and cinnamon. Note that most entrees are in the $30 range and the vegan platter for two exceeds $70.

Ask for the vegan menu and find a variety of tasty Greek dishes. For dessert indulge in homemade vegan ice cream :)

Great place for Veg*ans - Edit
I knew I was in the right place when I saw the dedicated “Vegan” page in the menu book and I was not disappointed. The quality of the food was great and the people were lovely. One of the best, wholesome meals I had in the Okanogan region.

Our server didn't know what Vegan meant. - Edit
We specifically went to this restaurant because they had a separate vegan menu. When we arrived, the lineup was out the door, and very clear this place is an institution. When we ordered specifically from the vegan menu, the vegan Greek salad, and the vegan houmus, the Server asked us, "so what do you vegans eat? What's the difference between vegan and vegetarian?" I explained that vegans don't eat animal products, for example, no dairy, no eggs. The server responded, "Ok, so no cheese on the Greek salad" like, of course not, your vegan menu says it's vegan, so no cheese. Then, they bring out a DRY Greek salad (because I guess vegans can't have olive oil dressing?) And RICE CAKES to dip in houmus because I think they thought being vegan means that you are also gluten-free? We got the check early and left before the mains. Overall, very disappointing!!!
Read moreMORAL OF THE STORY, maybe before you offer an entire vegan menu, train your staff on what being vegan actually means? It's not about knowledge of veganism, it's about knowing your menu.
AVOID. They are clearly just trying to cash in on the plant-based movement without putting in the work.

Okay food super expensive for small portions - Edit
The patio is nice. Not dog friendly. Our server was kind and accommodating but wasnt thrilled about the quality of the food. It was super expensive for mediocre food to be honest. We paid 25 for a plate of vegan food and I was still hungry afterwards.

Real decent place - Edit
We had the vegan bean soup (delicious) and shared the vegan platter, also very tasty! The restaurant has been there for 43 years and is a real neat place to look at, 2nd generation family run. Really enjoyed our visit.

Get to the Greek! - Edit
Theo's is such a wonderful atmosphere. It really has a Mediterranean vibe. The service was fantastic and our server was very helpful navigating the vegan options for us. There wasn't much at the time but we found some things we'd like to try. Greek can be a hard one to make vegan but the dishes were more than satisfactory. Portion size was excellent as we had lots to take home. The moussaka could have been a little better but we left pretty happy. The price is fair considering the portion size. I don't remember vegan options being marked on the menu.
