Taken off the large vegan menu 😒

Sadly since I was last here they've taken away the large separate vegan menu and you now have the choice of vegan lasagna, sausage and mash or burger...I chose the lasagna it did look home cooked and tasted fab 👌🏽 the chips were home cooked and chunky 😋 sadly no salad dressing. Or sauce suitable.

Cons: They've taken away the massive vegan menu, Only 3 vegan options, No desserts

Not the best, not the worst either!

I'm not sure if they have changed the menu recently however there didn't seem to be as many vegan options as what was advertised.
I was hoping for the stuffed peppers however they were unavailable so I had the bangers and mash instead which was really nice. The sausages were more fluffy and vegetabley based as opposed to a 'meaty' texture so they went a bit soggy with the gravy but overall it was nice. Staff were also friendly. I was hoping for a cup of tea however they do not offer alternatives to dairy milk unfortunately. I would eat here again but it probably wouldn't be my first choice unless I was in the mood for a burger as this was the majority of the menu.

Pros: Friendly staff, Nice food

Cons: Not much choice - old menu looks much better, No dairy milk alternatives

Wouldn’t recommend it

It looked clean enough when we went in. We were seated quick enough and we asked for the vegan menu. The menu was brought out to us along with a bottle of tap water, which didn’t look clean - very off putting. It’s great there is a separate vegan menu, but there wasn’t much variety. If you like vegan burgers, then great, otherwise you’re left with vegan bangers and mash - something you can make at home. There also isn’t a vegan dessert option. We never actually got round to having the food, because we waited so long to be served, we got fed up and walked out. It was quiet and there were a lot of staff just stood around not doing anything. Not impressed.

Pros: Separate vegan menu

Cons: Not a lot of variety on the menu, No vegan desserts, Very slow service

Props for vegan menu

Loved that had a separate vegan menu but needs healthy options, also didn't see any vegan desserts and waiters didn't offer any so assumed nothing vegan.

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Quite spacious with indoor and outdoor tables, Good price

Cons: All food options are "fast food". , Lacks healthy vegan, Didn't see vegan desserts nor was asked about

Vegan options available (less than ayear ago)

A pub in Warrington that plays the most infuriating American 40's music, because they are American owned.

Please note, there are less vegan options than a year ago!!!!

There are a selction of starters and sides available. The main menu has a Cajun spiced, sweet potato roulade, sausage, mash and gravy and 3 vegan burgers with fries.

They serve machine filter coffee, but offer no dairy free milk (which is remeniscent of old America). Luckily, I had my own Nordic Oat milk in the car, so nipped out to get it. Pepsi Max is the soft drink on their menu, but that is not Vegan.

The sweet potato and chick pea burger was substantial and tasted good (a change from Beyond Meat options). The fries were heavilly salted.

Service is friendly and the person serving us pointed out that my biscuit (with coffee) was vegetarian, so she was insure if it was suitable. I explained that if milk, egg and honey aren't in the ingredients list, then it is. Also that 'may contain' is an allergy warning to cover that it's made where these products are used.

New addition. Great choice

Really great vegan options with a completely separate menu. Friendly staff and good quality food. I'd definitely give it a go if you live or are visiting Warrington.

Pros: Reasonable prices, Seperate menu, Attractive decor

Seperate Vegan Menu

A surprising little gem of a pub!! Fantastic vegan menu with lots of choice and decent sized portions. I went for the pulled mushroom burger which was really delicious, but there was far more choice.

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Free parking and lots of parking, Good portion size
