Visited Dec 23. The food was amazing - tons of vegan options - really well prepared tofu, vegan mince, vegan kebab, falafel - all within various options. Followed by a vegan blueberry waffle.

Basic and Expensive - Edit
Other than the location, I wouldn’t recommend this place for vegans. It’s just a pub with a couple of very basic vegan options. And it’s pretty uncomfortable with no atmosphere as such. Cauliflower wings (unavailable went I went) or falafel for starters and vegan burger and chips for main was all I could see on the menu. And the bog standard sorbet as the vegan option for desert.
Read moreHow many times have we eaten falafel and vegan burger with chips and sorbet? I’ve had enough to last me a lifetime. The burger and chips cost me £11 and I felt lousy after eating them. I paid £12 for lunch at Bonne Sante which is just opposite and their food was incredible and I felt great after eating it. I should’ve just gone back there for dinner.
Pros: Nice location
Cons: Only a couple of basic bland vegan options, Far too expensive for what it is

Searching for somewhere that did reasonably priced vegan food on a cold Wednesday night and The Ship came up trumps! I had the falafel burger with fries and it was very tasty. The staff were friendly (but not the kind of friendly that can be annoying) and attentive. There were a couple of vegan options and I would love to go back and try another meal.

Lovely location and good food - Edit
Great location on the Barbican. Good pie and mash. Amazing to have a proper vegan option on a pub menu! And two locally produced sorbets for dessert.
