Burnt & inedible

Ordered a vegan dish only to be told they didn’t have it available, so it was swapped to a vegan pasta dish. On delivery to the table the waitress described it as the original dish. I questioned it and explained that I was told that wasn’t available, she shrugged and said they change the names all the time so she didn’t know what the dish was.

This clearly wasn’t true she had just read the original order and not realised the dish had been changed.

My meal looked awful and was burnt solid around the edges, it was over cooked (microwaved?) and tasteless. Shame after waiting over an hour for it to get to the table.

Cons: Very slow service

Surprisingly vegan friendly

Very handy to have a family friendly pub that has several vegan options, including a pudding. Nice to be able to have a pub classic such as (veganised) lasagne.

Pros: Several vegan options inc. pud

Cons: Serves meat, but hey it's not a vegan world - yet!
