Very pleasant surprise - Edit
We found this place on Happy Cow, having lived near Milton Keynes for 10 years and never knowing about it. There was a blackboard special consisting of a soup, a hot main course or a salad, as well as a regular menu of sandwiches, jacket potatoes etc. All food on the menu was vegetarian with the exception of a couple of dishes with tuna. The food and atmosphere was very pleasant. There is local art displayed on the walls for sale.

Lovely place to sit and relax - Edit
This little cafe is a real gem near the centre of Milton Keynes. Serves entirely veggie food, which is pretty reasonably priced (main meal with salad £4.50 at the time of writing). Not much on offer for vegans, but they do have soya milkshakes and staples such as beans on toast, veggie pasta etc.
Read moreThey have plenty of seating, outside and in, and have newspapers, books and magazines available to read.
All in all a lovely little place which I can't beleive I've missed out on for the 6 years I've been in MK!
Pros: Great place to sit and relax, Lovely food, Fairly cheap
Cons: Not so much for vegans, Soya milk only available occasionally
