Delicious vegan food in a prime location - Edit
This is both a restaurant in the bottom of the hotel and a separate coffee/juice place right next door (and connected by an inner door). You walk past reception just telling them you want to eat at the restaurant and there's a small cafe with a bar. They have wifi, AC, and the owner is very passionate about vegan food! Great to talk to and learn about Sarawak and food in general. Ended up here 3 or 4 times during our stay. Only downside was the menu was relatively small, and included salads which we avoided as we didn't know if raw food was safe to eat (it is). Everything is vegan by default, however you can (and they may ask) if you want to include egg in some dishes. They also have vegan versions of traditional foods, which was awesome!

Roti Canai with lentils - this is a vegan version of a traditional dish, so was awesome to be able to have it! Wished they gave more lentils by default as what you see in the picture was me ordering extra. This is somewhere between an appetizer and a meal.
Laksam was super tasty. Very rich and peppery, so if you aren't used to spice, be aware of this. Someone when we were in there complained it was "spicy", but it's not a chili spicy, it's just very peppery. I love pepper, and it's a local spice that's in a lot of native dishes, so I loved it! Not too peppery for me!
