Great variety for vegans - Edit
I finally made it to this restaurant after hearing many good things from locals, and it was super. I am a vegan and was absolutely delighted to see a 4 page menu with items for vegans and vegetarians - for pizza and also calzones, not just the typical salad offering. Best of all, they have options for crusts - including thick Chicago style pizza that was as authentic as any I have had since moving away from Illinois. The restaurant is quite small and also offers carry out and delivery in a limited area.

Cons: Some items are a bit pricey, Parking can be difficult , Not much seating if you are in a large group

Alright - Edit
The owner was very friendly and enthusiastic. They have a ton of options ( with everything) but I couldn’t stand the bacon pieces, they were those gross store bought pieces and turned the pizza pink. He did say that it would taste better accompanied by other items but I kinda doubt that. I bet if I went there again and order a specialty instead of creating my own that it would be better. I am a bit of a foodie snob and will have trouble forgiving those bacon pieces though.

Most amazing pizza ever! - Edit
I would give this place 5 stars if I could! The vegan cheeses and meats are made in house, and are absolutely delicious. My friends and I ended up coming here three times during our two day trip to Flagstaff! The vegan menu is extensive with gluten free options as well. I had a calzone, pizza, chili cheese fries, and the cookie pie- all were amazing!

This place has some of the best, most innovative vegan comfort foods I've ever had.
Read moreThe owner is super laid back and kind; he chatted with my bf and I about how he's consistently trying to come up with new, tasty dishes for his varried guests.
The first time we dined at Pizza Patio, we spent $65 because we needed to try a couple different appetizers, pizza, spirits, and dessert; everything was outstanding!
Pros: a vast vegan menu, super cool owner and staff, self serve beer-on-tap stations

Great vegan menu. If you are a vegan in Flagstaff, you must go ! - Edit
Owner Steve is passionate about vegan food and offers a great variety of food items that are usually not available to vegans. The vegan cheese cake was the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Cauliflower crust, in house vegan cheese made from scratch, big variety of pizza toppings and vegan pizza’s. This restaurant is considered “ Vegan option” but has a better vegan menu than some of the vegan restaurants that only offer vegan food! I wish I was in Flagstaff longer. I would love to try all the vegan food on the menu ! I would give Pizza Patio 5 stars!

You must eat here! - Edit
Delicious vegan pizza! The best I’ve had. They have lots of vegan appetizers and pizza toppings to choose from. Staff is very friendly and the whole place is dog friendly, not just outside. I’d give it 5 stars but I can’t because they also serve meat pizzas. But a great option for vegans!

So many options!! - Edit
This place is great! A separate totally vegan menu with so many options! Appetizers, salads, and specialty and deep dish pizzas!!! They make their own vegan cheeses -- no crusty daiya! You can even make your own vegan pizza or calzone! Huge selection of beer (cans, bottles, draught), wine, and other beverages! Outdoor seating, attentive staff, and a cozy interior! I'd give them 5 stars is Happy Cow allowed it!

Amazing - Edit
I was very impressed and appreciated the completely separate menu for vegan options. The vegan options were also great with most non-vegan options being reflected as a vegan option. Very delicious for both vegans and omnivores.

Both the thin crust and deep dish pizzas were super tasty. House made vegan cheeses were way better than gummy Daiya. Vegan apps too. Owner/cook is vegan himself.

Top Name in Vegan PIzza - Edit
We we're traveling to visit the Grand Canyon, and realized there would not be many options for vegan food once we were in the area. So we hopped on Happycow and Google to see where the closest destination would be for something other than a basic salad.
Read moreCalled up the Pizza Patio to learn more about their vegan options over the phone, and they assured us they had plenty of options. We headed over to Flagstaff to check them out.
They definitely undersold themselves over the phone! They had an entire separate vegan menu with incredible options. I was anxious and nervous about the turnout considering the area wasn't very vegan friendly. We ordered the cauliflower pizza with almond ricotta, a deepdish, the wings, and the mac and cheese bites.
WOW. I'm from Los Angeles, and have traveled all over including Portland, Philadelphia, New York, San Francisco, and I have to say, this pizza place definitely stood out as one of the top vegan pizzas I've ever had. This is comparing them to Cruzer (LA) , Virtuous Pies (Portland), and Blackbird Pizzeria (Philly). The difference between them all is that the Pizza Patio makes a very distinct cheese, and it tastes homemade.
I have got to say, I was blown away by this stuff, so if you are in the area and you're vegan/not-vegan GO THERE. You will not be disappointed.
Also, they are super friendly and kind, I believe the only reason they keep meat options on the menu is that the area is backwards in terms of going vegan. Once that changes I expect them to be a top name in vegan food in the next few years.
Thanks for the awesome food guys, keep it up!
*You can't give them 5 stars if they are not full vegan, seems to be a happy cow rating system.
Pros: Homemade cheese, Fresh, fresh, fresh, Kind, friendly, and patient
Cons: Meat options, this is the only con.

awesome vegan options! - Edit
This place exceeded our expectations! The vegan options were delightful (they do have vegetarian/omni options too) they are also super dog friendly which was so great as the owner of 2 pups. We started the meal with the vegan mozzarella sticks ( awesome btw!) I tried the vegan badass buffalo pizza, but there were sooo many other options as well. They even came and offered me some vegan parmesan and ranch! To top off a great meal, the staff was so super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back next time we are in town (:

So many options! - Edit
This cute little place has a full vegan menu! Maybe 15 types of vegan pizza? With options for classic Italian crust, Chicago deep dish or cauliflower crust. They also have vegan apps - we got the cheddar sticks! The owner is super passionate about vegan food. Oh and try the lemon almond cake - delicious! So happy to have found this place after a day of hiking!!

Many Vegan Options - Great Pizza! - Edit
We were thrilled to find this place after a long day of driving and hiking in the Grand Canyon. Owner Steve was very enthusiastic about his food - and backed that up with delicious options for vegans and omnis. I had the vegan cheddar sticks (yum!) and the Lumberjack Pizza - full of vegan protein and homemade vegan buffalo mozz (I added green peppers and Steve threw on basil and arugula, which made it extra delicious). It was amazing - I ate the whole 12” pizza myself. My omni partner had mozz sticks, fried ravioli, and pizza - very much enjoyed everything. Pizza Patio isn’t fancy, but it’s a great place to grab a bite in Flagstaff! (We didn’t order drinks, but they have a great lineup of taps!)

What a jewel ! Never thought you'd find a perfect vegan pizzeria out in Arizona ! Took our friends who were not vegan and the menu had some pretty funny speciality pizza names . A VEGAN GEM - Edit
If I could give this place 5 stars I would. But Happy Cow maxes out at 4 stars for non vegan-only restaurants. We got their Lumberjack Chicago deep dish pizza and their Taco Nacho Loco pizza with the cauliflower crust (see pics). Both were absolutely phenomenal. Completely different/homemade unique vegan cheese - indistinguishable from “the real stuff.” Met the owner Steve - a Chicago guy just like me! Safe to say I felt at home. This place is an absolute gem and a vegan oasis tucked in a cozy little Arizona town. Highly recommend.

While this is it a restaurant that serves exclusively vegan food, their vegan options and toppings are wonderful and they are making a conscious effort to add more and encourage vegan ordering. Check it out!
