Most excellent food - Edit
Visiting from Oklahoma and we decided that we must stop. The value is great. Prices are very reasonable. It renewed the drive to keep our own vegan bakery going.

Order from here all the time - Edit
We get breakfast from here about once a month at least. Their food can be a little hit or miss depending on taste but they are always updating and changing items which is fun. The food is never bad by any means it just may not be a hit for everyone.

Cons: Have had a few blander items.

Try the Lox and cream cheese! - Edit
My husband, before we went vegan, loved lox and cream cheese 🥯 on a bagel. This place was so good he got the carrot lox to go after we ate lunch so he could make it at home.

Love the seitan handpie. Loads of other good hand pies too, delicious vegan cheesecake and other desserts. Not my favorite vegan latte, but it’s okay.

Hidden Gem - Edit
Incredibly flavorful in the best way, layers of complexity, this cafe is one of the most underrated vegan restaurants I’ve been to in the world. Every single item I’ve had there is an experience in every bite. I drive 3 hours just to go there. The chef here is a genius. I want to marry the carrot lox bagel. This establishment deserves lots of support and accolades. Better tasting than most well known players in this field. Run don’t walk.

This food was incredible. From presentation to actual taste. Nothing was out of the package and they actually made flavorful seasoned dishes. Highly recommend.

Disappointed - Edit
The place looks really nice and the staff is very friendly. The food is organic but really lacks flavor. I had the veggie hand pie, which was very bland and the s’mores chocolate cake which was hyper sweet with an almost metallic after taste. The biscuit and gravy was just very salty. I also tried the moon lavender tea and it was overwhelming with lavender flavor to the point of a bitter after taste from too much lavender.

The food here reminds me of the old school eats you would find at the deli of a food coop. Hippie indulgent. In the best way.

😋 - Edit
All vegan, cute cafe. Great breakfast stop. I really liked the biscuit and gravy, and the breakfast sandwich is pretty good. Tastier than it looks! Ingredients are great, the patty is lentil based and gravy tempeh based, otherwise they have mushroom too. Which is apparently VERY mushroom-y. I'd come back😄they have a deal where everything is $6, but every item added reduces a dollar (1 for 6, 2 for 10, 3 for 15)

Parkside has delicious food and wonderful coffee. Some of the menu items are evergreen and some rotate, always tasty. The folks that work here are always nice, friendly and make great recommendations. If you need vegan breakfast in Oly, this is the spot!

So good - Edit
So many yummy options, everything I got was delicious. I got the mushroom potato stroganoff hand pie and the seitan & rice burrito. The burrito has a tiny bit of a kick, but it specifies that it is spicy. I love that they have several loose leaf tea options. My friends got a chai and the vanilla rose iced coffee and both of them said it wasn't sweet enough for their taste.

A great find! - Edit
We stopped here when traveling between Portland and Seattle. It’s a really nice venue with very friendly and welcoming staff - I also thought it was really well priced too, I would that it was more $ than the $$ shown on HappyCow.
Read moreWe order the seitan burrito and the breakfast burrito then shared - both were excellent, but I think the seitan came out on top for me!
Then we shared a slice of cheesecake (orange I believe) and that was really tasty too!
I personally would really recommend the coffee, enjoyed a really nice Oat Latte which was very welcome after some awful coffee earlier in the day.
100% vegan, and would 100% recommend
Pros: Fully vegan , Great staff, Very well priced

Awesome! - Edit
I had the tempeh sausage gravy and biscuit and the creamy veggie hand pie, and both were great! The inside crust of the hand pie was a bit doughy, but other than that, everything was fantastic! My mom had the breakfast burrito which she liked, and the white chocolate raisin oatmeal cookie was incredible!

😬 mixed feelings 💫 - Edit
Great location, very cute space and friendly staff. Good selection of options and great pricing. Really enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie I had. Excited to try a new spot I picked up a 2 for $10 to try two things and since I was headed to the vegan food barren coast. I had a breakfast sandwich for lunch and a wrap for dinner. With the breakfast sandwich I thought the bun was inedible (it was a strong flavor that took over) and ended up just eating the inside which was decent.
Read moreThe wrap later was incredibly salty, I had to get something to change the lingering salt flavor out of my mouth that water couldn’t remove. Possible there was a salting accident?! It seemed the dressing.
Apparently most people love it based on the reviews so didn’t want to tarnish and imagine there’s things I’d really like too. If I was in Olympia I’d try again. My honest stars would be 2.5. But I’ve been snapped at in vegan threads for anything but rave reviews, so, here we are!
Pros: Inexpensive! , Nice spot , Friendly staff
Cons: Didn’t enjoy the food (except the cookie!)

High quality, delicious breakfast! - Edit
Our group of vegans and non vegans all LOVED this spot. Beautiful restaurant, though we got it to go. They nailed the bagel and lox! The biscuits and gravy (both kinds) were amazing. Delicious flavor. A bit salty, but so good! The breakfast burrito was a 4/5, definitely needed some hot sauce for flavor, but still very good. Great cookies, too! We’ll be back anytime we’re in the area!

We were happy to find an all vegan cafe, set up well for Pandemic eating with a good variety of delicious grab n’ go creative choices. We stopped here coming and going from Seattle. It is the perfect travel stop. Seitan hand pie, breakfast sandwich and quinoa salad are favorites thus far. Lots of socially distant outdoor tables too.
