Ask for Vegan Menu - Edit
Didn’t mention vegan menu until we asked for it. What a nice treat. Went for breakfast, which can be a challenge for vegans. Much appreciated. Great staff that worked together.

Big vegan menu! - Edit
Perfect spot to enjoy a meal with friends and family who all want different food. I always love when there is a whole vegan menu and not just one boring option. The food was good and the coffee was delicious!

Decent vegan options - excellent waittress - Edit
They do have a separate vegan menu, but due to food allergies, the combinations didn't work as well for me. Perhaps, for someone without my food allergies, it might be a better option.
Read moreI got a burrito that was made with something called Just Egg. I had never heard of it before, but it is vegan. Surprisingly, it tasted a lot like scrambled eggs. Unfortunately, that was most of what was in the burrito. It did have what they call smashed potatoes and a few smashed black beans. The beans were not very pronounced in it. It was good, not great. The burrito seemed a bit dry and needed a little more variety, maybe even a little bit more of the beans and some more veggies. Greens or some tomato in there might have helped.
My husband, who does not have food allergies, got a Portobello Sandwich. He thought his was good but not great. Neither of us have a desire to return there, but it certainly was good enough.
The waitress was excellent, one of the best waitresses I've see. She really tried to work with me to make the meal more satisfying.
Pros: Excellent waitress, Good Food, Vegan Menu

5 Stars in my opinion - Edit
Love that they have a fully vegan menu upon request. I had a black bean breakfast burrito and my son had a breakfast quesadilla. More lunch options but more than I am used to seeing in places I have been that are not fully vegan. If you are frugal prices may scare you off but it's worth it and my burrito likely had 1 bottle of just egg in it.

I love that they have a separate vegan menu and plenty of choices for every meal. Breakfast, lunch, a healthy din, and a little something sweet. Super cute inside w/ a retro type feel and great service.

Very nice meal - Edit
Excellent meal and service. I had the Frittata, the veggies of the day were spinach and tomato. For a side I had the fruit. Not a lot of food, but I usually eat too much. We were lucky to find a parking space!

Front and back vegan menu with plenty of choices! We had the Sunrise Sandwich and the breakfast burrito, both were amazing. The kid had a vegan burger and it was tasty. They also have impossible/beyond burger if it is in stock. They don't have a vegan creamer, but did offer us oat milk or almond milk for our tea and coffee. Other menu choices were a fritatta, grain bowl (oatmeal), acai bowl, and a few others. The smashed potatoes were yummy. Cute souvenir items too and it appears that they have local teas available for sale too.

Very disappointed. - Edit
Visited on 06.16.2020. This restaurant was my favorite vegan option for years. Always my first choice. Has gone downhill in the last year. We will not be returning. Food was not good (except for the açaí bowl, that was good) and the service was terrible.

Fair and Filling - Edit
The vegan menu had several good options and we went for the Southwest Sunrise sandwich, smashed potatoes and the Tepa Chorizo Hash. We enjoyed both. The serving was on the larger side and a bit too much for us. Overall it was a nice dining experience with attentive staff and a busy diner atmosphere.

Visiting Prescott for a wedding we ate at The Local three mornings in a row. The food is fantastic and the staff is just lovely. Our entire family - meat eaters and vegans alike - loved the food. I would highly recommend it.

Vegan Menu is Awesome. - Edit
If you want a great breakfast or lunch that comes off a vegan Menu then you want to go here. They are closed for dinner. Their spelt pancakes and Burrito for breakfast or lunch we're great and filling. They also sell the impossible burger! I'd give them 5 stars if it was available.

Great food without the Prescott charm - Edit
I work every summer up in Prescott and I was so excited to find a place in town with a vegan menu! We were a group of six but they could only seat us once everyone was there because the place has limited seating. Once seated we ordered drinks and when the waiter brought them, he slammed each drink onto the table. Also there were signs at each table saying to be mindful of people waiting, fair, but then there was also on the table a paper that said not to complain if the music is too loud or not to your liking, odd comment. It was just a very hostile and passive aggressive environment. Luckily the food was pretty great! My boyfriend and I split the impossible burger and the black bean burrito. The tortilla was incredible and the burrito was very flavorful. We also got a side of sweet potatoes which were the best sweet potatoes I've ever had! I'm not sure if I will come back because of the environment but the sweet potatoes may be the saving grace. I really do appreciate that this local restaurant supports other local businesses. And it was a kickstarter campaign which is very cool!

Atmosphere was clean and cute. The vegan pancakes were pretty tasty, but the side of fruit was not good. We also had Acai bowl, which was a scoop of sorbet with fruit & granola just okay. 2 cups of coffee and the bill was $27.00 before tip, a little pricey!
