No choices, just veggie sausages for Sunday roast. - Edit

When I booked for Sunday lunch, there were 3 choices on the menu, and they looked okay. I specified veggie options when booking.
On arrival, when we ordered, only veggie sausages were available. Meat eaters had several choices, as usual, chicken or turkey, for the same price.
Very disappointing.
Needless to say, we went elsewhere.

Under the Sugarloaf - Edit

Pub nestling under the Sugarloaf (Pen-y-fâl) - in fact, it's very close to the Sugarloaf vineyard. It has a decent vegetarian and vegan menu, and Brain's beers, although my favourite, Barry Island IPA, is only in mimsy little cans. And spectacular views, if you can get a window seat. Considering that Abergavenny is the foodie capital of Wales, it's not exactly bursting with vegetarian options, so the Lamb & Flag is a welcome find.

Pros: Good vegetarian/vegan menu, Views
