I would really like it if this place went fully vegan then I, like other vegans, wouldn't have to worry about non-vegan ingredients or whether I wanted a poached egg or not.
Read moreHowever, having said all that and made judicious decisions the food here is wonderful. It's fresh, tasty and reasonably large servings. This is the third time I've eaten here and on this occasion I had the Trio Arancini, The Greens Bowl and a basket of chips. I love arancini and this was excellent. Crispy outside, soft centre and not oily. Very well presented. The greens bowl was very refreshing - edamame, kale, broccoli, cucumber, etc - topped with jackfruit schnitzel. An excellent combination. I highly recommend it.
Pros: Hot non-greasy food, Tasty and well presented.
Cons: $$ but what isn't, that close to the water , It's 110 km from home. 1.5 hrs by train.

Lots of options - Edit
Food was well presented and plenty to choose from the vegan menu. We will be back to try the other options!

Vegan Menu - Edit
It's unusual in these parts to find a cafe with a separate vegan menu with all the items being made in a vegan section. For this reason I've given 4 stars despite meat being served here.
Read moreAll the food was very tasty, the Plant Based Breakfast was really good with a side of tofu scramble. Beware - I did notice egg and cheese can be added on as an extra on this meal which is probably why it's called Plant Based Breakfast on the menu, but the breakfast itself is fully vegan. Infact egg and cheese makes an appearance a few times on the menu as optional add ons which does make it a bit confusing as some may think it's vegan egg and cheese on a vegan menu but it's not! The Vegan Crepe was bursting with veg, and The Greens Bowl was fresh and nutritious but just a bit too much dressing on it. Next time we'd probably ask for dressing on the side to add the amount that we like.
