Nice Café and Restaurant in Mandurah - Edit
We shortly visited Mandurah and looked for some vegan food. The hummingbird waterside is a nice Café/Restaurant which has separate vegan menu. We had some fries and Arrabiata Pasta. Noodles were a little overcooked. Except from that it’s a good place to stop as a vegan in Mandurah😄

Plant based breakfast - Edit
The plant based breakfast avocado extra.
Read moreMediocre meal unfortunately for the price, and it had way too many tomatoes on the plate, like a whole punnet of fried cherry tomatoes. The mushrooms were tasty, beans bland with no seasoning, the rest was OK.
The server was rude and mixed up my soy coffee with skinny cow milk...pet hate! My replacement coffee was curdled, and I scooped off an inch of curdled mucky milk to drink it.
Pros: Local art on display , Decore, Location
Cons: Rude staff, Mediocre meal , Bad coffee and mixed up order

Lots of vegan dishes - Edit
My friend and I went here for some lunch, we both had the burgers. My friend really enjoyed the Garden Burger, and I had the Southern Style Schnitzel Burger which was very good, not only did it look great it also tasted fresh and was a nice change to a regular burger. Loved the chips.
Read moreThis cafe is linked to The Kookaburra's Coffee (next door but one) and the vegan menu seems exactly the same.
There is a vegan section on the menu with lots of dishes to choose from which is most unusual in these parts, and also a vegan kiddies section, for that reason I'll give it 4 stars as it's the only place in town with a decent variety on the menu for us vegans! The food is pretty good too.
Service was quick and friendly.

Awesome green bowl - Edit
Welcoming, friendly staff.
Read moreServes vegan and non vegan food.
Separate vegan menu and separate vegan kitchen.
I had the green bowl with jackfruit snitzel, highly recommend! My partner had the homemade vegan burger and said it was tasty (no pics cause he inhaled it). Teenager had the biggest bowl of wedges and said they were good.
Pros: Green bowl with jackfruit snitzel., Friendly staff , Homemade vegan food in separate kitchen
Cons: Toilet keys were confusing

Great range of delicious vegan meals, smoothies, hot drinks and sweets ranging from healthy to downright decadent! - Edit
Great vegan cafe situated on the Mandurah waterfront with lots of shaded outdoor seating. Excellent variety of vegan meals you don’t often see. Fast, friendly service. One of our favourite stopovers when heading back to Perth from a holiday in the southwest.

Good options - Edit
I’ve eaten here a few times, nice food, could make it equally or better at home... but nice to see a fully GF and vegan eatery in Mandurah. This time I tried the ‘smoked salmon on rosti’. With the ‘smoked salmon’ being in the title I expected this to be the main event of the dish, it simply tasted of salty carrot. I have made vegan ‘smoked salmon’ before with much success, using lemon juice, olive oil, capers, liquid smoke, nori, and dill. The vegan egg was nice, but not much flavour, rosti was nice but over salted, and on a simple bed of spinach, red onion and cherry tomatoes. I appreciate the experimentation of this dish, but wouldn’t have it again.
