Delicious Vegetarian Kofta - Edit
We were just passing through, but I believe they had just renovated/re-opened. We were seated promptly and had a number of delicious entrees and appetizers. The table favorite was the vegetarian kofta, by far.

Mmmm mmmmm Good - Edit
Probably my fave vegan place in Hamilton.
Read moreEverything is made fresh to whatever degree of spice you like. They make things vegan on request from menu. Samosas are amazing. But fave thing is a VEGAN TALI — you sent 4-5 small portions in one sitting with a fresh piece of Naan — add a samosa and bhaji and your world will be just about perfect
Pros: Everything

Best Indian snacks around - Edit
Small restaurant where you can order at the counter and sit down with about 6-8 tables. Lots of desserts, nuts, meals and Indian snacks. The samosas are perfect, not too spicy for non-Indian guests. It’s worth stoping by if you are on you way to/from Toronto and you like Indian food.

My fave Indian place in Hamilton - Edit
This little place is one of my favourite restaurants in Hamilton. It is a tiny strip mall resto, with an unpretentious vibe. The food is wonderful, however, and all vegetarian. I am vegan so there are many options for me too. The sweet counter is also wonderful. My favourite thing is to buy a large number of samosas and pakoras to go and freeze them. Easily the best vegan samosas I have had.

Better Indian food you will not find anywhere - Edit
A small unpretentious spot in Stoney Creek. Once you try their food you will wonder how you ever survived without it. The subtlety, balance and depth of flavour set this food apart from anything else you can find. This is fine dining quality but at insanely cheap prices. Everything is fabulous. My favourites are the samosas, pakoras, jalfrezi, bhartha and jalabi for dessert. The thali is a great option especially if you’re eating in. It’s a small place with just a few tables so if you go at a busy time it’s easier to get take out.

Amazing Experience! - Edit
My dad used to eat here all the time when he worked in Hamilton. He just introduced me to the restaurant today and we had an amazing experience. All of the vegan items were specifically pointed out on the menu which made it a lot easier for us. The portions were a great size and our food was ready in no time. Also.. the food was amazing!!! So delicious. PLUS they had at least 4 or 5 different options for vegan desserts. Everyone was so kind and knew exactly what vegan meant, will definitely be back the next time I'm in Hamilton.

Great food at reasonable prices - Edit
The food here is always good and the portions are amazing for the prices. Service is friendly and they are very happy to answer questions about the menu. I just HATE the Styrofoam cups and plates and plastic utensils. Nothing says I hate the environment like Styrofoam.

Fast and Yummy! - Edit
My husband and I, both vegan, have been here once. I myself am an Indian food expert (self proclaimed). I like supporting this restaurant, which is small and family owned and operated. All of the staff are sweet (Of course!) and very helpful. Although this restaurant is vegetarian specific, which I greatly applaud, I'm afraid the food is unremarkable. It tastes good, and soothes cravings, but my experience was somewhat of a let-down. I ordered aloo gobi, channa masala (too much onion, not enough chickpeas!), and samosas.

The Very Best - Edit
We have been frequenting this restaurant for a number of years. We used to drive from Burlington on a regular basis to pick up food from here but then we moved closer and eat here at least once a week. The family who owns it is very pleasant and the girls who work there are really sweet. The food is amazing. My sister lives in Vancouver and anytime she is home or if we meet her on vacation her only request is that we bring her Himalya samosas! Every party we go to where we need to take something, I always order from here. It is located in a small, starting to look run down plaza but it is clean and fresh and by far my favourite vegetarian restaurant. It's a MUST try. Ask for the Thali if you are unsure what to try first. You can order which spice level you prefer, mild, med, hot which is great because my vegetarian-since-birth kids can eat here ordering mild while I can get it as hot as I like. It's amazing. Love it love it love it! I've just made myself hungry writing about so I guess it's Himalya for lunch today!!
