Best Vegetarian Indian Food in town!

We came for the first time here today, ordered two thali lunch take aways- these came with three different curries, two roti and rice for ten bucks! The curries were all delicious: we had a shahi matar paneer (peas, tomato and cheese cubes), aloo gobi (potato and cauliflower), and bharta (roasted eggplant and onions). All were very well prepared and tasty. The value here at Taj was excellent as portion sizes were good.

We also had some sweets: these were all fresh and flavourful- not just sugary.
Samosas were terrific- really the best anywhere we've ever had- with a nice thin crust and ample tasty filling. Good chutneys too!

NB the restaurant is takeout only.

We will definitely be coming back for more. Recommend you give this place a try for really the best Indian vegetarian food anywhere near Hamilton.
