Almost perfect!

Vegan service was really great - the food and accommodation was beautifully presented, and the service was quick and super super friendly. Cannot praise the staff and atmosphere enough.

The roasted vegetable options were incredible, and they have a lovely hazelnut vegan ice cream also. If you go here as a vegan, you will have an amazing time.

However, as with a plethora of fine dining restaurants in Brighton, I sadly am still yet to see their chefs utilise vegan meat alternatives.

As expected with a Michelin star restaurant, the price is hefty, as you are recommended to have 3-4 plates.

Pros: Service and staff are phenomenal , Presentation , The food itself is divine

Cons: Please utilise vegan meat alternatives!

Delicious food/badly written menu

I've got mixed feelings about this place. Some of the food we had was delicious, lots of small plates with some more unusual options, and it's a lovely setting. However, a lot of the items are listed as "vegan option available" but the vegan option is very different to the standard option with no mention on the menu of what to expect. E.g. Crushed potatoes with miso butter came with olive oil and no miso. Strawberries and cream parfait with lemon posset and Strawberries was a chocolate cookie, chocolate ice cream and Strawberries. I would go back here because the dishes that were good were really good but I'd ask what changes are made to each of the vegan options. It's a bit of a shame because it could be really good but it's an expensive place so I don't think you get your money's worth with the vegan options (which still cost the same as the original version)

Pros: Delicious food, Lovely setting

Cons: Vegan options very different to original , Expensive
