Perfect pub with knowledgeable staff

Finding a boozer with a good veggie/vegan menu is pretty difficult.

However finding one that also caters for allergies is a rarity.

One of the first questions you are asked when ordering is “do you have any allergies or dietary requirements”.

Being a vegan with a mustard allergy, it’s difficult to be able to enjoy a day out with friends or family. This pub was one of a kind . They made me feel right at ease, going through every detail of their process. Even going as far as taking pictures of every ingredient list for the dish I wanted, to be sure that I made the safest choice for me. To explaining the full allergen process they follow in the kitchen. Will definitely return.

Pros: Allergy aware, Friendly staff, Hot, tast food

Decent vegan options.

As others have mentioned this is a generic chain pub so don’t expect innovation.
That being said, the pub grub menu has a decent amount of veggie and vegan options.
I had roast cauliflower and sweet potato falafels from the Tapas menu and both were fresh and tasty.
Vegan pizzas and burgers also available.

Pros: They have a vegan dessert , Nice choice

Cons: I don’t like big screen sports but others might!

Very slow service

I really wish I could give this place 5 stars. There's a few vegan options and everything I've tried I've enjoyed (burger, panini, pizza) but the service is ridiculously slow. Like REALLY slow. We once waited 45 minutes for a defrosted dessert when the place was almost empty. If you're in a rush, don't go!

Pros: Vegan options

Cons: Very slow service

for feeding me before a concert.

Pros: Vegan options , Nice pub

A Chain Pub With a Few Vegan Options

We had the pizza and the veggie tacos with some fries. It was all ok, but not spectacular, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was inexpensive.

Excellent vegan menu

We came for lunch today and we were super impressed both with the dedicated veggie and vegan menu and the quality of the food. We had the vegan taco stack, the moving mountains burger and the curry all of which were great. There is a big vegan breakfast available too which we will try one day soon plus loads more vegan options on the menu.

Pros: Lots of choice

Great when with omni family

Was looking for a good priced pub for lunch with my omni Mum and found this place. Quick service. Clean and good portion sizes it was perfect for a mixed group. Great vegan beer selection too. I'd definitely go back next Halifax trip.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Great for a mixed diet group, Vegan beers noted on menu
