Good vegan donuts - Edit
This is a branch of a popular donut shop whose main branch is near Astor Place. They have a few, clearly labeled vegan donuts--I particularly enjoy the old fashioned (vegan ) donuts.

The Donut Pub - Edit
I loved the chocolate vegan doughnut I had at the other location so much that when I stumbled into this one by mistake today, I couldn’t resist getting another one. The donut is incredible, it tastes like an Entenmann’s donut and is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.

There are about 6 vegan options, but they're all cake-style, no raised ones. I had the glazed donut, and it was a bit greasy but overall OK.

Vegan options aplenty, but more scone than donut - Edit
They have a lot of vegan flavors (plain, powdered sugar, pumpkin, blueberry, chocolate, chocolate sprinkle, and possibly some others), and the donuts were quite cheap (maybe $3). However, the donuts were hard and crunchy, more scone than cake donut. Good if you’re in a rush and need something sweet and cheap.

Good doughnuts - Edit
Popped in while in the area. Not strictly a vegan place but they do have a tray with a selection of 5 or 6 vegan doughnut flavours. Tried a blueberry, cinnamon and chocolate one. All of them were great and not too greasy. Would recommend if you're in the area.

Vegan Donuts - Edit
We struves at that place around 9pm. At that time the bakery had 4 different vegan donut options. I choose the last chocolate donut which tasted amazing!
