Creative Vegan Burgers

Loved the vibe of this place! Many different vegan burger, hot dog, and fry options. They also had a second asian menu when we went! Food and service was great!

Omg so delicious!

I took my husband to lunch for his birthday and debated on driving the 20 mi from where we were - but it was 100% worth it. I had the Dirty South burger and he had a patty melt on Texas Toast. They were both out of this world. I think more people would eat vegan if this level of flavor and quality was more widely available. We are just passing through it will definitely want to come back just to eat here!

Pros: All vegan menu , Delicious food, Great service

Pricy, but ok, and fun concept.

Went for the first time during the newer weekend brunch. Unfortunately they had run out of flour (this was only an hour or so after they opened) so I couldnt try what I originally wanted to, which was the brunch sandwich with sausage and just egg on a pancake bun. Instead got a brunch burger (burger with LTO, just egg, some kinda sauce) and a hash brown on the side that cost THREE DOLLARS for one hash brown brick. Table also has some stuff to share. The nasty fries were ok but the TVP they used for chili was too wet so the fries ended up being kind of a gross mess. We also had the fries with the two hot sauces, which were good. Cocktails were tasty, tried the strawberry lemonade and the mudslide. I'd come back to try a regular milkshake and maybe a hotdog with plain fries, but I was a little disappointed in everything else. Especially considering how quick the bill became astronomical and how I could make most of the stuff on the brunch menu myself at home with impossible sausage, just egg, and other stuff from the store.

Pros: Entirely vegan menu, Good cocktails, No illusions about health

Cons: Expensive, Garbage plates are too soggy , Ran out of a key ingredient very early in the day

Keeps Getting Better!

I've been here a few times, and feel so lucky to have such a fun vegan restaurant nearby. They are very new, so are continuously tweaking and adding to the menu. They just added brunch on the weekends and it rocks! It is fairly expensive, but the food is great, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and it puts me at ease knowing that everything they make is vegan. We love this place!!

Pros: All vegan , Great staff, Expanded menu

Cons: Expensive

Not very good

I REALLY wanted to love this place but wound up so disappointed. I just didn’t like the food - the burger I got was bland despite all their funky sauces, the loaded fries were goopy and didn’t taste good, and everything was too salty. The only thing I liked was one of their specialty hot dogs, but that’s mostly just because I love hot dogs (and it was just okay). Also thought it was a bit overpriced for what I got. Don’t think I’d try it again, which bums me out because I was excited about another vegan place in Cary.

Pros: Location, Hot dog was good, All vegan

Cons: Little overpriced, Food was bland, Did not like any sauces

Cool concept in Apex

Had a good meal out with family (including two meat eaters) and everyone enjoyed it. Vegan shakes and local craft beer on draft. Good burgers and fries, but I especially enjoy the mac n cheeze! Lots of spicy options too, which I love. Happy to have this place in Apex.

Uninspired and overpriced

I really wanted to love Dirty V, but once again the area gets another vegan place with burgers and fries. (And I know how lucky we are to have another vegan place in the area, but still!)
I got the black bean burger basic Betty and accidentally ordered it without a bun. With tax and 20% tip, I paid over $18 for what I could get at a grocery store for $3 or less and make way better at home. I'd love to see them expand to more diner food options with more imagination...and also offer some healthier options.

Nothing healthy here, lol 😂

What a fun place and crazy menu with the best names for their dishes. But be warned…everything is too salty and too oily! I wanted to try an assortment so ordered the Trash Talker waffle fries w/a burger bun side and the Mac n cheeze & sauces on the side as well.

I “deconstructed” the dish at the table by putting the burger, tomato, lettuce and onions on the bun. Then I added some of the chili to the Mac and dug in. Warning: order the chili on the side too as it’s too oily and made the waffle fries soggy. The bbq sauce was too hot and salty so changed it out for the ranch (why do they add green food coloring to it?).

Everything was heavily salted. No need. The Impossible Burger fake meat is already high in sodium. No need to season the waffle fries as the chili on top is too salty. The separate ingredients used to make the sauces already have salt in them as well so why add more?

The saving grace was the glass of water and a fabulous server. Will I go back on my next trip to Raleigh? Only to order a plain burger which I’ll press between layers of napkins to remove the excess oil and I’ll try a dessert. Nothing else. Couldn’t handle all that grease and salt.

Pros: Fun menu & good music, Great gal who waited on me, All vegan

Cons: Everything was too salty, Everything was too oily, Nothing healthy like salads

Great burger place

The food was great but it will put you in a good coma. Definitely not the healthiest place but it sure was good. I got the basic Betty and one of the Mac and cheese dishes and it was amazing. The staff was very nice and friendly. The music was great and so was the atmosphere.

Pros: Great music, Lots of options , Friendly staff

Cons: Put you in a good coma

Excellent

I am considered because in BBQ NC it won’t stay open. I tried to go once a week. Everything I tried is delicious. Please become a regular customer.

Pros: Tasty, Filling , Good portion

Cons: A little pricey but not bad $$, Could use some healthy sides, Don’t deliver shakes only food

Must Go Vegan Spot!

I ordered the Basic Betty Burger and it tasted AMAZING! They make their own sauces and they were soooo good! My fiancé ordered the Naughty cowgirl burger which had a great flavor combo aswell we shared Boofalo Gal fries. They have big portions with great flavor. And we also shared the vanilla milkshake. The food was supper light and didn’t feel heavy after eating! The waitress was sweet and super helpful. Must go if your in the area.

Pros: Big portions, Great sauces and food, Great customer service

Great Options, Not So Great Flavor

Stopped in to check out this place. It's sister spot Element is so much better. The Mac and cheese had a sweet taste. The milk shake was great. We tried the Trashtalker waffle fries, burger was good but the rest was blah. We left most of the food on the table.

It's great they have gluten free options and every single item is vegan.

Great burgers, fries, and shakes!

We got the kimchi burger, the patty melt, and the basic hotdog, as well as a side of waffle fries. The kimchi burger was one of the best vegan burgers I’ve had, with a satisfying greasiness and good balance of flavors. My son crushed the hot dog. Waffle fries were delicious!

The patty melt felt lighter than expected, with lightly toasted bread, which wasn’t as satisfying. Still giving it 5 stars, but I’d heavily recommend the burgers over the melts!

It looked like the ranch was homemade, you could see the dill (which looked fresh) in there. It’s also colored blue, which is part of their theming.

It’s also ALL VEGAN and it’s right on the border of Cary and Apex and we’re in the future! I will be returning!
