Hidden gem - Edit
For being so deep in the countryside ( a dairy/butcher) they cater incredibly well for vegans. Good menu choices, vegan ice cream flavours, lots of provisions in the farm shop (nooch, chocolate, sweets).

Farm shop and cafe - Edit
Treated our selves to full vegan breakfast (including scrambled tofu)before catching the boat home. They also sold dairy free ice cream but it was too early in the morning.

Tasty and friendly - Edit
Tasty, fresh colourful food. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely outdoor covered area which is dog friendly as well as indoor dining and uncovered outdoor tables. Full vegetarian menu with quite a few vegan options. We had spicy bean tacos and potato hash. Very tasty and fresh. We had black forest gateau and vegan chocolate ice cream. Plant milk for coffees available. Lovely setting. Very clean and efficient. Busy, so need to book. Lots of vegan items in the adjoining shop and things like water bottles and vegan cork handbags. Just be prepared that there is a butchers counter. Definitely going to return! You must see the waterfall nearby. Beautiful.

A surprisingly vegan-friendly venue in rural Northern Ireland - Edit
Was astonished to discover the good range of vegan food and drink on offer here, when out for coffee with family. Have since returned multiple times to enjoy a cooked vegan breakfast or main course.
Read moreThey have a shop attached, which has a wide range of vegan products - e.g. vegan honey, dairy and meat alternatives. Something that is in short supply in the local area.
Pros: Excellent food, Friendly staff
Cons: Busy. Pre-booking recommended
