The have a few vegan options, I got the bean burger and it was yum.

Live Laugh Lasagna - Edit
Sat down immediately at a booth in a cozy little pub. Service was fast and friendly. Menu had a specific vegan section with around 4 main course options. Most dishes could be customised too.

Fresh, piping hot, filling and really tasty. Would go back to try other options again.

I was delighted to find Ownies here on happy cow. I was trying to find somewhere for a hot vegan lunch following a dip in the sea at fisherman’s quay in carrickfergus and was about to head to a chain and then saw ownies on here. It has a couple of vegan options. We both had the vegan lasagne which we enjoyed. Just what we needed - piping hot. Friendly service, booths and warm fires ablazing. They happily gave me veg instead of chips and it was boiled carrots and parsnips. All felt like home cooked comfort food. We didn’t get to try the pudding on this occasion but I’m sure we’ll be back.

Very welcoming staff and punters! The veg soup was top notch (could easily have eaten another bowl) and the chocolate tart with coconut ice cream was one of the best vegan deserts I've ever had. They had oat milk for coffees but apparently they don't always, so may just have been a lucky day for me.

Vegan lasagna - Edit
Delighted to find clearly marked vegan options on the menu, including a chocolate and coconut tart in the desserts. The lasagna was nice but not my best ever. The fries served with it were very good, so was the tart. And the service was amazing. Our waitress went out of her way to make sure we had a good meal. Altogether, recommended!

Ate here a few times pre covid and really enjoyed the vegan food,there was only a small list of main options at the time, hope to get back soon.
