Vegetarian cafe located inside the Castle Climbing Centre, near Manor House station. Sign in at reception to go to the cafe, instead of paying a fee to climb at the centre. There is a permaculture garden onsite, which provides fruit and vegetables for the cafe, and processes food waste to use as compost. All ingredients are locally sourced and organic, allergens are clearly labelled, and staff use vegan-specific chopping boards and utensils. There is a variety of vegan options on the menu, which change from day to day. Could include soup, at least one main course, a range of salads, hummus and sourdough, jacket potatoes, beans on toast and sandwiches. Has house-made soya-based vegan cheese. There are also house-made vegan cakes and hot and cold drinks with oat, soya and coconut milk available. Also has vegan beer.
