Amazing pub restaurant

Can't rate this place highly enough as a general place to eat. Amazing pizza, and apparently the other food is good too. I always get the pizza. Price can rack up if you want a big meal, but honestly I find just a pizza by itself is more than enough to fill you up, so can get a meal & soft drink for about £15.

As a vegan, it's also pretty good compared to most places. They offer vegan cheese for all their pizza and will happily swap meat toppings for veg options. In all the years I've been there they have only messed up my order once, the manager was very apologetic didn't charge me for the replacement, so can't really complain. Not actually sure what vegan options are available outside of pizza, but their menus are all available online.

The also have a huge selection of beer/ale/etc if that's your thing. Their cocktails are pretty good too.

They do tend to book up early (at least pre-COVID) so book in advance if you have a large group or want to go at a busy time. If you can, try to get seats in the Garden Room. It's got a really nice atmosphere.

Also, parking is a bit of a nightmare, so be prepared to park on the road nearby if you come at peak time.
